EN→FRThe Pixel 11 is less about a dramatic hardware upgrade and more about refining Google’s idea of what a modern smartphone should be. The familiar design, compact 197-gram body and excellent 6.3-inch display make it comfortable to use, while the main camera remains the phone’s biggest strength. Images have plenty of detail, strong dynamic range and natural-looking colours, and the 5x telephoto adds useful versatility.

EN→FRThe Pixel 11 is a bigger upgrade than it looks on paper. Yes, it’s $100 more expensive than the Pixel 10 at $899, and the Pixel 11’s performance simply doesn’t match similarly priced flagships. It’s also riddled with upgrades, including double the base storage, a larger primary camera, faster Qi2.2 25W wireless charging, and a slimmer camera bar. EN→FRI think there is a very strong case for suggesting the Pixel 11 over the other Pixel 11 series phones, just based on the savings alone. Sure, it doesn’t have the pro camera features like the 120x zoom, but it does take a really good picture, it’s more pocketable, and it comes in some awesome colors so it’s definitely stylish and well-designed. Across the board the Pixel 11 provides a great experience for the average user, and only those who want the better camera and additional features would find this phone lacking too much for their personal taste.

EN→FRFor everyone else, the Pixel 11 Pro's $200 premium is harder to justify than it used to be. The Pro still has better hardware when it comes to cameras and display quality, but Google's base Pixel now shares most of the specs that affect everyday speed, longevity, and charging.

EN→FRReviewers largely agree that the Google Pixel 11 undercuts the Pixel 11 Pro by $200 while matching its RAM, storage, and chip, according to The Verge. Whether that's worth it depends almost entirely on what phone is already in your pocket. The base model starts at $899 with 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and the same Tensor G6 chip found in both Pro models. PCMag calls it the "top value" phone in Google's current lineup, while Trusted Reviews calls it "a tricky sell" at a higher price than last year's Pixel 10.

Google's mission to streamline its Gemini AI into a useful experience is obvious here, but that software push is incomplete outside the US thanks to the lack of Gemini Intelligence at the time of review. EN→FRThe $100 price increase mostly disappears once you count what's now included at $899: more base storage, a materially upgraded main sensor, and AI features that run the same as they do on the $1,299 model. Those upgrades make the higher starting price easier to justify. The Pro line makes sense for photographers who lean on extreme zoom, anyone chasing the brightest possible display, or buyers who'd actually use that bundled six months of Google AI Pro.

The camera is superb for a phone of this price, the battery is the best in the lineup outside of the largest and most expensive model, software is clean, and the size is right. EN→FRI'm a little torn because the biggest problem with the Pixel 11 is that it's just not a very interesting year-over-year upgrade. Aside from slimming down the camera bar and adding a couple of (admittedly neat) AI doohickeys, you could spend less money to get a Pixel 10 and still largely have the same experience if you're upgrading from something significantly older. Sorry, but if I’m already spending nearly $1K, I might as well spend $200 more and get the Pro, which then unlocks much more.

EN→FRThis concludes our Pixel 11 and iPhone 17 camera comparison. Both smartphones perform nearly identically across scenarios, with a minor difference in how they handle colours, details, dynamic range, and exposure. The Pixel 11 generally delivers better exposure, dynamic range and colour consistency across its cameras. It also performs particularly well in low-light conditions, where it handles highlights and noise better than the iPhone 17.

EN→FRWith another year around the sun comes another round of Google Pixel smartphones for us to enjoy. This year’s release of the Google Pixel 11 series of phones brings a continuation of what we already saw last year. When releasing a new smartphone year after year, it’s often difficult to introduce something truly groundbreaking and original.

EN→FRI haven't used an Android phone full-time for a few years, and I really enjoyed my time with the Pixel 11. Many of the AI-powered features Google has developed here feel genuinely useful — I don't care about making images with Nano Banana, but anything that helps me organize and stay on top of my chaotic life is welcome. Photography remains a strength and I hope Apple feels some pressure to add a third lens to the basic iPhone 18.

EN→FRThere’s a lot to like about the Pixel 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro XL. MediaTek’s M90 5G modem and the upgraded cameras are welcome improvements. So are the Pixel 11 Pro and 11 Pro XL’s brighter screens, and the Pixel 11’s slightly larger battery and faster wireless charging.

I’ve spent a full week using the Pixel 11 as my main phone, and while it’s a solid device, it’s clear that Google has taken an iterative approach this year that might frustrate and annoy new and longtime fans alike.

EN→FROn the whole, the Pixel 11 is a really good phone. It gets a lot right, has a solid camera system, and a bunch of smart features that make the phone feel more helpful than competitors. At the same time, Google’s hardware remains a bit behind the curve, and price increases don’t help matters either.

EN→FRAI made your next phone more expensive. Google’s counterargument is that AI is also what makes it worth buying. The Pixel 11 series takes a break from major design overhauls and keeps things very similar to last year’s Pixel lineup. It’s also trying even harder to get more iPhone users to switch, with a new setup experience that can move over your home screen layout, apps, contacts, photos, eSIM, and more.

EN→FRFor the Pixel 11, the cost is pretty much the same as the 10, going up $20. It’s worth noting that the price disparity between the Pixel 10 and 11 looks great, but that’s because it started at 128GB of storage. This is similar to the Pixel 11 Pro and the Pixel 10 Pro, which started at 128GB and now go up to 256GB.

EN→FRThere is a lot to like about the Pixel 11 based on this initial introduction: faster wireless charging and a 512GB storage option are appreciated, and the Tensor G6 may well prove a boon to both battery life and camera results. The removal of the 128GB model means the starting price is £100 more than last year, but at least Google has kept the cost of the 256GB version at the same £899 as before.

EN→FRGoogle has just launched a boatload of new devices, including four new phones, a new watch, and a brand-new tag device which you can attach to any inanimate object you don’t want to lose sight of. Today, I want to focus on the Pixel 11 smartphone series, because that’s what I’ve had most hands-on time with.

The cameras are better, but Google also cut RAM on the Pro models, shrank the batteries on three of the four phones, and raised prices across the board. Here's everything that changed, including the downgrades nobody's mentioning. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL now start at 12GB of RAM instead of 16GB.

Imagination CXTP-48-1536:
