A croire que Nubia est dans les starting-blocks dès le mois d’octobre en attendant les annonces de Qualcomm. Il est vrai que c’est impressionnant de voir Nubia dégainer si rapidement un smartphone haut de gamme avec le tout nouveau SoC de Qualcomm, à savoir le Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 cette année. La grosse évolution date de l’année dernière avec son nouveau design et cette année, l’itération se veut plus être une confirmation de la nouvelle direction prise par Nubia. Dans tous les cas, on apprécie toujours le design du RedMagic 9 Pro avec un écran intégral des plus impressionnants, avec des bords quasi inexistants et une caméra frontale sous l’écran. Avec son prix compétitif et un bloc photo des plus honnêtes pour un smartphone gamer, le RedMagic 9 Pro est un concentré de technologies qui va plaire à ceux qui recherchent avant des performances pour jouer et ce, sans pour autant être pénalisé dans la vie de tous les jours. Le RedMagic 9 Pro est un excellent de smartphone gaming et un très bon smartphone au quotidien.

Avec le Red Magic 9 Pro, la marque Nubia affine encore un peu plus son arme ultime pour les jeux. L’appareil profite d’un design plus abouti, plus racé et plus épuré que son prédécesseur offrant également des performances accrues avec une meilleure efficience et un sujet mieux maîtrisé au niveau de l’interface graphique. On apprécie l’effort de la marque pour proposer des menus totalement traduits, des paramètres très complets et une expérience logicielle très convaincante. Le Red Magic 9 Pro correspond parfaitement à ce qu’un joueur exigeant peut attendre de ce type de produit profitant d’un très grand écran sans aucun gêne, de gâchettes sensitives efficaces, d’une très grande puissance de calcul et donc d’une excellente jouabilité en toutes circonstances. Globalement, l’expérience est extrêmement satisfaisante. La partie photo étant aussi plus polyvalente qu’auparavant, il est très difficile de reprocher quoique ce soit à ce téléphone surtout que son prix est plutôt raisonnable au regard des prestations offertes.

Le Nubia Redmagic 9 Pro de ZTE a, à mes yeux, subi un véritable changement par rapport à son prédécesseur de l'année dernière. Et ce sur toute la ligne, dans le bon sens. Le design est nettement plus sobre et vaut donc la peine d'être considéré par le grand public. On a droit à un écran Amoled plat de 6,8 pouces tout à fait convenable, avec un taux de rafraîchissement maximal de 120 Hz et une résolution FHD+. Un écran qui plaît déjà sans même que vous l'ayez allumé. On le doit aux bords résolument fins, à l'absence de poiçon pour la objectif selfie et, au final, au design global anguleux. À notre grande surprise, le double module photo avec deux capteurs Samsung de 50 MP est tout à fait convaincant pour un smartphone gaming.

The RedMagic 9 Pro values gaming performance above all else, and if you do too, you’ll be absolutely delighted with this phone.

Kudos to nubia for maintaining its competitive pricing. However, it's hard to get over the fact that this is the first Red Magic phone to overheat under prolonged loads. We checked, and every single Red Magic phone we've tested kept its cool under prolonged loads. That used to be its shtick, and now it's gone. Also, the display is not as competitive in brightness and HDR capabilities, the software still needs better translation, and the high refresh rate gaming is still a hit-and-miss.

Qualcomm Adreno 750:

Puce graphique pour smartphones et tablettes intégrée au SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Qualcomm affirme qu'il est 25 % plus rapide que l'Adreno 7340 dans le Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 et les premiers benchmarks montrent que le GPU peut battre l'iGPU Apple A17 Pro.

Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.

SD 8 Gen 3: SoC haut de gamme pour smartphones présenté fin 2022 avec un noyau principal rapide basé sur une architecture ARM Cortex-X3 cadencée à 3,2 GHz. Deux autres cœurs de performance sont basés sur l'A715 et ne prennent en charge que les applications 64 bits. Les deux autres cœurs A710 prennent également en charge les applications 32 bits, tout comme les cœurs Cortex-A510 à économie d'énergie. En plus des cœurs de processeur, le SoC intègre un modem WiFi 7, un DSP Hexagon (pour l'accélération de l'IA) et un ISP Spectra. Le contrôleur de mémoire intégré prend en charge la mémoire rapide LPDDR5x jusqu'à 4 200 MHz. la 5G est incluse dans la puce avec le modem Snapdragon X70.

Un écran de plus grandes dimensions permettent des résolutions plus élevées, les détails comme la finesse des lettres seront meilleurs. Néanmoins, un écran de plus petite taille est synonyme de consommation énergétique moindre et souvent d’un terminal plus compact, plus léger et plus abordable.
