Test de l'AMD Ryzen 9 3950X : le fleuron du socket AM4

Plein pot ! Avec le lancement des processeurs Ryzen 3000, AMD a mis la pression sur Intel. Nous avons déjà pu constater cela de façon notable avec notre test de l'AMD Ryzen 9 3900X. Avec 16 cœurs, le modèle le plus haut de gamme du socket AM4 pousse le bouchon encore un peu plus loin, et montre à Intel qu'il va avoir du fil à retordre dans l'avenir aussi, parce que l'AMD Ryzen 9 3950X est meilleur que la concurrence dans les applications multithread. La famille AMD Ryzen 300 marque des points avec une bonne efficience énergétique tant que les processeurs sont utilisés dans le champ de leurs spécifications. Avec l'AMD Ryzen 9 3950X, AMD lance un processeur 16 cœurs sur le socket AM4 populaire, qui peut même être utilisé sur les anciennes cartes-mères X370. Ceux qui peuvent mettre 770 € pour ce processeur seront récompensés par des performances du meilleur niveau. L'AMD Ryzen 9 3950X est particulièrement efficace dans les usages multithread, mais il gère également très bien les jeux, si bien que le fossé avec Intel se réduit à rien.

Intel reste le meilleur choix en ce qui concerne les performances de jeu pures. Mais à une époque où n'importe qui peut devenir un créatif avec Twitch ou YouTube, le processeur AMD tire une fois de plus son épingle du jeu, d'autant que le jeu ou le streaming sur un PC peuvent malgré tout bien sûr être effectués sans souci grâce aux 16 cœurs et aux 32 threads.

Ceux qui pourront s'offrir l'AMD Ryzen 9 3950X peuvent voir venir, et pourront se passer de la prochaine génération de processeurs.

Il en va de même pour l'AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, avec 12 cœurs et 24 threads. Mais ceux qui voudraient encore un peu plus de performances devront se tourner vers l'AMD Ryzen 9 3950X. Il est un peu plus puissant dans les tests. Au final, l'utilisateur devra définir ce qu'il veut faire de leur PC. Avec un AMD Ryzen 9 3950X dans les mains, il sera possible de sauter quelques années, et d'attendre la génération Zen 4 !
