Dell's Studio lineup eclipses their Inspirons in pretty much every way. Better builds, better parts, better features, and in the long run, better values. So how does the Studio 17 stand on its own? Pretty well, actually. There's no mistaking the line is designed to be more of a value (although the current pricing wouldn't necessarily have you believe that), but the blend and balance of performance and features are definitely there.

Dell's Studio 17 1749 is a 17in notebook that can be used as a business laptop, gaming PC or even as a media centre. It provides good performance, plenty of hard drive space and even its battery life is acceptable considering the size of the notebook. A less glossy screen and bezel, and a solid keyboard would improve the overall package. But apart from those quibbles, there is a lot to like about the Dell.

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650: Carte de moyenne gamme supportant DirectX 11 qui consomme 15-20 Watt. Avec Eyevision (jusqu'à 6 moniteurs)
La plupart des jeux pas trop demandants actuels peuvent tourner de façon fluide. soyez prêts à endurer un rendu graphique assez moche à cause de la basse résolution et des détails au minimum. Par ailleurs ces cartes sont suffisantes pour un travail de bureau et le visionnage de vidéos (pas évident pour la vidéo HD).

520M: Le Core i5-520M n'as que 3 Mo de cache L3 (comparé au I7-640M) et une fréquence de 2.4 à 2.93 GHz (Turbo Mode). Avec l'Hyperthreading, 4 cores sont gérés simultanément. La carte graphique intégrée (GMA HD 3150) et la RAM DDR3 sont dans le package.
