I like the ProArt P16, a lot. It’s fast, reasonably well-built, and has a drop-dead gorgeous OLED display. Probably the only other Windows laptop I’ve reviewed that comes close is the Yoga Pro 9i 16, and I would be hard-pressed to choose between these two given their overall value and performance. At the very least, I will say that the ProArt P16’s OLED display is better than the Lenovo’s mini-LED panel. The MacBook Pro 16 can be configured to be a lot faster, and it’s better built. But you’ll have to spend considerably more to get a better laptop than the ProArt 16. For Windows creators, the ProArt 16 is very easy to recommend. And the new AMD Ryzen AI 9 is a very fast chipset that competes well against the best that Intel has to offer.

While I could sum up this review in six words – like the PX13 opposite, only bigger – that doesn’t do the ProArt P16 justice. Yes, it shares many of the same design hallmarks and specs as its little brother, but this 16in laptop can justly be called a graphics workstation.The bigger chassis means more room for fans and cooling systems than the PX13, and the CPU benefits from a maximum thermal design power (TDP) of 70W rather than 65W. Asus evidently can’t make room for a GeForce RTX 4080 within this still-slender chassis, instead sticking to the RTX 4070 found in the top-end PX13. What you do get, if you select the 2TB model, is 64GB of RAM; the 1TB/32GB version costs £2,600 inc VAT.

With the update of the ASUS ProArt P16 matrix, it was able to correct its, in every sense, most noticeable weakness, expressed only at 60 Hz. Now, working with 120 Hz has become more pleasant. Moreover, the display has been given maximum brightness and an anti-glare layer. And along with this, options with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 and 5090 video accelerators have appeared, which will not be superfluous for users with very demanding tasks. The chassis may not be so new, but it is still very pleasant to use, along with other details that were not saved on in this model. Additionally, the laptop can still please with the original DialPad controller and touch screen, which is not even an option, but a standard for the ProArt P16. So, globally, the model is developing wonderfully. But, unfortunately, it is not becoming much more accessible.

Asus: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. est un important fabricant de matériel informatique taïwanais basé à Taipei, fondé en 1989. Carte graphique haut de gamme pour ordinateurs portables basée sur l'architecture Ada Lovelace. Offre 8 GB GDDR6 (128 Bit) et est configurable avec un TGP de 35 - 115W (+ Dynamic Boost).
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop: Une prochaine carte graphique de la famille Blackwell pour ordinateurs portables, que la Team Green présentera très probablement au CES 2025. Si l'on considère que l'ordinateur portable 4070 possède 4 608 shaders unifiés (cœurs CUDA), la 5070 aura très probablement plus de 5 000 shaders.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop: La GeForce RTX 5090 Mobile utilise la puce GB203 et utilise 10 496 shaders / cœurs CUDA sur les 10 752 que compte la puce.
