Unfortunately, what is terrible is that Chuwi requires you to pay ship-in costs to China on returns. But if you can stomach its warranty, Chuwi's CoreBook is the best laptop under $500 for productivity and for video playback. However, there are laptops for $750 and 800 which also have 120Hz displays and a discrete graphics card, which I would advise buying instead if it's within your budget.

Other than that, I didn’t really like the maximum screen brightness of 230 nits. The device also made a little noise under heavy loads and tasks. At the same time, the quality of sound and webcam did not have the best indicators.

In essence, the Corebook X remains an excellent purchase at $500, offering performance on par or superior to the competition, especially in aspects like display quality and typing experience.

Chuwi:
La plupart des jeux pas trop demandants actuels peuvent tourner de façon fluide. soyez prêts à endurer un rendu graphique assez moche à cause de la basse résolution et des détails au minimum. Par ailleurs ces cartes sont suffisantes pour un travail de bureau et le visionnage de vidéos (pas évident pour la vidéo HD).
Intel HD Graphics 615:
Carte graphique intégrée (GT2) à certains processeurs de la gamme Y de génération Kaby Lake (TDP de 4,5 W). Embarque 24 unités d'exécution mais est dépourvu de toute mémoire vidéo dédiée.
Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.
Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655:
Carte graphique intégrée (GT3e), qui est utilisée par certains processeur Coffee Lake U (28 W).
Intel Iris Graphics 550:
Carte graphique intégrée (GT3e) à certains processeurs Core LV Basse Tension de génération Skylake (TDP de 28 W). Embarque 48 unités d'exécution et de la mémoire ultra-rapide eDRAM
Intel Iris Xe G7 80EUs:
Carte graphique intégrée dans les SoCs Intel Tiger Lake G7 basés sur la nouvelle architecture Gen. 12 avec 80 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). La fréquence d'horloge dépend du modèle de processeur. Les puces Tiger Lake sont produites dans le processus moderne 10nm+ chez Intel.

SoC ULV orienté efficience énergétique, il est basé sur l'architecture Kaby Lake et est destiné aux tablettes et ordinateurs portables à refroidissement passif. Outre ses deux cœurs processeur HyperThreading cadencés entre 1.0 et 2.6 GHz, il offre une puce graphique intégrée HD Graphics 615. Le processeur est gravé selon une lithographie d'une finesse de 14 nm.
Intel Coffee Lake:
i5-8259U:
SoC (System on a Chip, système sur une puce) Coffee Lake destiné aux portables de taille moyenne. Intègre quatre cœurs physiques cadencés entre 2,3 et 3,8 GHz, ainsi qu'un GPU Iris Plus Graphics 655 cadencé entre 300 et 1 050 MHz, avec 128 Mo de eDRAM. Fabriqué avec un procédé 14 nm. L'enveloppe thermique de 28 W est bien plus élevée que sur les processeurs basse consommation (ULV) classiques de 15 W.
Intel Core i3:
6157U:
Processeur dual-core basé sur l'architecture Skylake pour ordinateurs portables et Ultrabooks. Il offre une puce graphique intégrée Iris Graphics 550 adossée à de la mémoire vidéo eDRAM. Le processeur est cadencé à 2.4 Ghz et est dépourvu du Turbo Boost.
Intel Alder Lake-M:
i5-1235U:
Un processeur mobile basé sur Alder-Lake avec 2 cœurs de performance et 8 cœurs efficaces. Les cœurs de performance offrent un hyper threading, ce qui permet de traiter 12 threads. Le CPU tourne à des fréquences allant de 0,9 à 4,4 GHz. Le TDP est spécifié à 15 Watt.
