AMD a optimisé l’architecture Zen dans de nombreux domaines, ce qui permet une hausse honnête des performances générales. La nouvelle architecture Zen+ offre un IPC largement amélioré. Non seulement les nouveaux fleurons en profitent, mais également les Ryzen 5 2600 et Ryzen 7 2700 économes en énergie. Avec une enveloppe thermique de 65 watts, les deux CPU proposent de bonnes performances. Quiconque cherche à avoir un système assez efficient mais sans sacrifier les performances sera bien servi par les nouveaux Ryzen.

Alors qu’avec une comparaison directe, les Ryzen 5 2600X et Ryzen 7 2700X que nous avons testés récemment offrent des performances légèrement meilleures, le ratio prix - performances est remporté par le Ryzen 5 2600, son prix de départ de 195 € étant tout à fait honnête.

Avec l’architecture Zen+, AMD rattrape les processeurs Coffee-Lake. C’est intéressant pour les utilisateurs finaux, la concurrence étant positive pour les prix et l’innovation. Avec ces améliorations de l’architecture Zen, AMD réussit à améliorer significativement les performances mono et multi cœur. Les Ryzen 5 2600 et 7 2700 complètent efficacement la nouvelle série, AMD proposant là deux processeurs économes en énergie mais puissants.

Les nouveaux processeurs Ryzen ne nécessitent pas nécessairement de carte-mère équipée de la nouvelle puce X470. Mais c’est mieux pour utiliser toutes les nouvelles fonctionnalités. Ceux qui ont encore une carte-mère avec la puce X370 doivent avoir le dernier BIOS installé. Au moment de l’achat, les magasins de matériel informatique connus proposent un service de mise à jour du BIOS.

Les deux processeurs Ryzen sont dans l’ensemble convaincants, que ce soit pour les performances ou la consommation. Alors qu’il serait logique d’inclure un système de refroidissement, le système Wraith-Stealth est à peine suffisant : AMD aurait dû équiper le Ryzen 5 2600 du Wraith-Spire. Il ne reste plus qu’à savoir pour quel type d’utilisateurs le processeur est bien adapté. Dans nos tests, le Ryzen 7 2700 n’a pu battre le Ryzen 5 2600 moins cher que dans les logiciels multi-thread. Dans tous les autres tests, les deux processeurs sont au même niveau. Quiconque voudrait un système de jeu devrait jeter un œil au Ryzen 5 2600. Grâce à sa vitesse d’horloge de base plus élevée, il est capable de fournir plus de puissance que le Ryzen 7 2700 dans la plupart des benchmarks de jeu. De plus, son prix de 195 € est un bon argument de vente.
