Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion)

Afin d'abaisser la luminosité de l'écran, certains ordinateurs portables font varier très rapidement le rétroéclairage entre éteint et allumé. La fréquence à laquelle le rétroéclairage s'éteint et se rallume est normalement fixée à une valeur qui permet de rendre la variation indétectable à l'œil nu? Si la fréquence est trop basse, certaines personnes peuvent être sujettes à une fatigue oculaire, des maux de tête ou même percevoir les variations.
Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion) décelé 961 Hz

Le rétroéclairage de l'écran scintille à la fréquence de 961 Hz (certainement du fait de l'utilisation d'une MDI - Modulation de largeur d'impulsion) .

La fréquence de rafraîchissement de 961 Hz est élevée, la grande majorité des utilisateurs ne devrait pas percevoir de scintillements et être sujette à une fatigue oculaire accrue.

En comparaison, 52 % des appareils testés n'emploient pas MDI pour assombrir leur écran. Nous avons relevé une moyenne à 9164 (minimum : 43 - maximum : 142900) Hz dans le cas où une MDI était active.

Temps de réponse de l'écran

Le temps de réponse d'un écran mesure la rapidité à laquelle l'écran est capable de changer une couleur pour une autre. Un temps de réponse élevé se traduit par une image floutée pour les objets en mouvement. Les joueurs bénéficieront de faibles latences d'affichage en jeu.

L’Acer Aspire ES 17 ES1-732-P7YA est assez puissant pour Internet et la bureautique. Le GPU intégré peut également utiliser son décodeur pour soulager le processeur des sollicitation importantes dues au visionnage de vidéos. De ce fait, cet Aspire peut gérer les services de streaming vidéo sans souci, sans chauffer quelles que soient les sollicitations auxquelles nous l’avons mesuré. L’appareil reste également plutôt silencieux.

Notre appareil de test possède un stockage abondant grâce à son disque dur de 1 To. L’ES1-732 possède également une trappe de maintenance, qui rend comparativement facile le changement du disque dur par un SSD de 2,5 pouces plus rapide. Acer a équipé l’appareil d’un clavier honnête, mais c’est vraiment dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de rétroéclairage. Notre appareil de test possède également une autonomie relativement bonne, tandis que sa garantie constructeur de deux ans est un atout indéniable.

L’Acer Aspire ES 17 ES1-732 est un portable basique pour la maison, pour la rédaction, la navigation Internet et le streaming, avec peu de fioritures.

L’écran est l’une des plus grosses faiblesses de l’appareil, comme c’est souvent le cas avec beaucoup d’appareils bon marché. Acer a équipé l’ES1-732 d’un écran TN sombre avec de mauvais angles de vision. Nous avons cependant été surpris de voir son contraste élevé.

Notre appareil de test coûtait 390 € au moment de la rédaction de ce test, mais ce n’est à notre avis pas une affaire pour autant. Le Lenovo IdeaPad 330-17IKB, surtout la version 81DK0040GE, est d’un meilleur rapport qualité / prix, avec son processeur Intel Pentium 4415U, ses 4 Go de RAM et son SSD de 128 Go. Le processeur est significativement plus puissant que le N4200 de notre appareil de test, et son SSD le rend beaucoup plus réactif. Et, cerise sur le gâteau, il coûte 40 € de moins que le ES1-732. Nous recommandons donc de jeter un œil sur l’IdeaPad avant d’acheter l’ES1-732, s’il est disponible dans votre région.
