Lenovo a mis à jour sa gamme Y700 en y apportant son lot d'améliorations par rapport aux Y50 et Y70. Le châssis est bien plus robuste et comprend deux baies de stockage ainsi que les gains que l'on peut s'attendre avec Skylake et un SSD.

Le système donne sérieusement l'impression d'être un barebone surtout par sa taille. Nous n'avions jamais vu une machine aussi dépourvue de fonctionnalités depuis le Razer Blade 14. Adieu le G-Sync, le NVMe, l'USB Type-C, le mDP, la sortie SPDIF, le lecteur optique, le Thunderbolt, le RAID ou encore les touches macros. Le contrôle qualité a fait grandement défaut sur la dalle qui est victime de fortes fuites de lumière.

If none of the omitted features are concerning, then the Y700 is a good buy for its strong CPU and GPU performance. Buyers can save hundreds by skipping over novelty features found on costlier competitors.
