Longue durée. Le modèle d’entrée de gamme de l’Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming n’a pas les composants haut de gamme des modèles plus chers de la série. Même s’il est toujours gêné par un écran moyen, il s’agit d’un appareil assez puissant à bon prix. L’autonomie est très bonne, et met à l’amende nombre de concurrents – qu'ils soient conçus pour le jeu ou non.

A certains égards, ce test du Dell Inspiron 15 7000 7567 Gaming équipé d’un i5-7300HQ et d’une GTX 1050 n’est pas aussi simple que prévu : sur le papier, l’appareil est juste une version moins puissante que les autres versions plus haut de gamme. Alors que les performances sont en effet inférieures, au niveau auxquelles nous les attendions, il est déconcertant que le système soit plus bruyant, plus lourd, chauffe plus, et possède une autonomie un peu moins grande que les versions plus puissances. Cette liste pourrait condamner l’appareil, mais non : il demeure bien construit, robuste, offre des performances honnêtes, et tient aisément une journée en utilisation quotidienne multi tâche. Son vrai point faible est son écran TN, qui est raisonnablement lumineux, mais qui souffre d’un faible contraste, de couleurs imprécises, et d’angles de vue très réduits.

L’Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming est l’est des PC portables abordables pour joueur avec la meilleure autonomie du marché. Son prix de 750 $ aux États-Unis paraît bien adapté.

Pour 850 $ au moment du test, l’Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming peut être choisi avec un SSD de 256 Go en plus d’une GTX 1050 Ti et d’un écran IPS de 15,6 pouces FHD. Vu les lacunes de l’écran TN, cette deuxième version nous paraît bien plus intéressante, si le budget le permet.
