Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion)

Afin d'abaisser la luminosité de l'écran, certains ordinateurs portables font varier très rapidement le rétroéclairage entre éteint et allumé. La fréquence à laquelle le rétroéclairage s'éteint et se rallume est normalement fixée à une valeur qui permet de rendre la variation indétectable à l'œil nu? Si la fréquence est trop basse, certaines personnes peuvent être sujettes à une fatigue oculaire, des maux de tête ou même percevoir les variations.
Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion) décelé 240 Hz

Le rétroéclairage de l'écran scintille à la fréquence de 240 Hz (certainement du fait de l'utilisation d'une MDI - Modulation de largeur d'impulsion) .

La fréquence de rafraîchissement de 240 Hz est relativement faible, les personnes les plus sensibles devraient percevoir un scintillement et être sujettes à une fatigue oculaire accrue (avec le niveau de luminosité indiqué)

Le smartphone de 1ère classe Galaxy A80 de Samsung est un appareil assez grand et lourd qui intègre plusieurs innovations : la charge rapide qui utilise 25 W est convaincante, et n’a jusqu’à maintenant pas même été disponible sur les Galaxy S plus chers.

De plus, l’avant ne possède aucune encoche, et les bordures sont très étroites. Cela oblige à d’autres innovations, comme l’écran utilisé comme écouteur – mais qui produit un son plutôt médiocre – ou le lecteur d’empreintes digitales intégré dans l’écran – mais qui ne fonctionne pas aussi bien qu’un capteur intégré dans le cadre.

Mais l’innovation la plus spectaculaire est sans doute le capteur photo principal rotatif, qui permet de réaliser des selfies haute qualité. Cependant, l’appareil photo est en réalité plutôt moyen, et le capteur ToF peu utilisé, que ce soit pour la reconnaissance faciale ou pour les fonctionnalités gadgets comme sur le LG G8S ThinQ. Seule l’appli de mesures commence à utiliser le capteur photo innovant. Il n’y a pas de zoom optique ni de stabilisateur d’image optique, et quand l’appareil photo est tourné, le flash ne fonctionne pas – autant d’éléments qui viennent réduire notre enthousiasme…

Le Samsung Galaxy A80 n’est pas parfait et un peu cher pour ce qu’il propose, mais il possède beaucoup d’innovations marquantes.

L’autonomie est bonne sans être révolutionnaire, tout comme l’écran. Et l’on trouve d’autres smartphones plus performants et avec un meilleur GPS pour le même prix.

Ceux qui tomberont amoureux de l’appareil photo rotatif devront supporter ses désavantages, mais auront un smartphone de haute qualité et, malgré tout, puissant, avec des fonctionnalités inhabituelles qui ne feront pas de mal…
