One of the advantages of having several 2-in-1 devices to choose from is that you can start to differentiate by what you want to do with them. The HP Elite x2 is not what I would choose for a consumer item; its display is bright and satisfactory, but doesn't have the deep colors of an AMOLED screen; its audio is adequate but not impressive; and its battery life could be better.

The HP Elite x2 1011 G1 is a highly portable detachable-hybrid tablet. Its battery life is one of the best in its class, and its performance on our productivity tests is solid. You'll need to download the latest driver, however, to avoid the touchpad glitches we encountered when detaching from and reconnecting the tablet to the keyboard. For a powerful Windows-equipped, detachable-hybrid tablet, we still recommend the Editors' Choice Dell Latitude 13 7000 Series 2-in-1 (7350), which has the same RAM, processor, and storage as the Elite x2, as well as about the same list price, but sports a higher-resolution screen, decent graphics, and good performance scores on our tests.

The HP Elite x2 1011 has a lot to offer. It looks good, performs reasonably well for a system of its size, and its battery life can keep you working (and even having some fun) long after other portables would have sent you scurrying in search of an AC outlet. Its WiGig docking option, though not yet in the HP.com store at this writing in early September 2015, will offer a decent number of ports without adding to the size of the system, which is nice.

The main obstacle to us telling everyone to buy an Elite x2 is its price; $1,629 as equipped (not including the WiGig dock) will buy a fully equipped Ultrabook with touch and even better overall performance. The Elite x2 has its excellent battery life and detachable tablet portion going for it over most Ultrabooks but even then we have trouble calling this a good value. The Elite x2 has however done more than enough to earn our overall recommendation for being a well-rounded product but only if you’re not particularly sensitive to price and place a high priority on having a dedicated tablet.

On en vient à se demander pourquoi ne pas opter pour un Spectre x2 de chez HP qui présente des caractéristiques similaires et coute un peu moins cher. Personnellement, nous choisirions tout de même l'Elite x2 pour les raisons suivantes : La béquille du Spectre est peu pratique à manier d'une main alors que celle de l'Elite x2 est beaucoup plus simple;

HP:
Fondée en 1939, la société américaine est un important fabricant de serveurs et d'imprimantes et l'une des principales sociétés informatiques au monde. Jusqu'en 2015, la société s'appelait Hewlett-Packard Company. Après une scission, la division informatique a été renommée HP Inc.
En 2023, HP détenait une part de marché approximative de 22 % des ventes mondiales de PC, ce qui en faisait le numéro 2 après Lenovo.
La plupart des jeux pas trop demandants actuels peuvent tourner de façon fluide. soyez prêts à endurer un rendu graphique assez moche à cause de la basse résolution et des détails au minimum. Par ailleurs ces cartes sont suffisantes pour un travail de bureau et le visionnage de vidéos (pas évident pour la vidéo HD).
Intel HD Graphics 5300:

Intel HD Graphics 515:
Carte graphique intégrée (GT2) à certains processeurs Core M de génération Skylake (TDP de 4,5 W). Embarque 24 unités d'exécution
Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.
Intel HD Graphics 620:
GPU intégré (GT2) présent sur certains modèles de CPU Kaby-Lake (série 15 W ULV).
Intel UHD Graphics 620:

Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs:
Carte graphique intégrée dans les SoCs Intel Tiger Lake G4 basés sur la nouvelle architecture Gen. 12 avec 96 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). La fréquence d'horloge dépend du modèle de processeur. Les puces Tiger Lake sont produites dans le processus moderne 10nm+ chez Intel.

Intel Kaby Lake Refresh:
i5-8350U:
Processeur quatre cœurs ULV Kaby Lake Refresh. Les quatre cœurs sont cadencés entre 1,7 et 3,6 GHz (Turbo Boost), et supporte l'hyper-threading. Le GPU intégré a une fréquence comprise entre 300 et 1 100 MHz. Le SoC est fabriqué grâce à un process 14nm+ FinFET.
L'Intel Core i5-8350U est un processeur quatre cœur énergétiquement efficient, pour les portables et les ultrabooks, basé sur la génération Kaby Lake Refresh, annoncé en août 2017. À la différence de son prédécesseur direct, le Core i5-7300U, qui était double cœur, le i7-8350U est équipé de quatre cœurs, mais à une fréquence de base inférieure de 1,6 GHz. Le Turbo Boost monte à 3,6 GHz, et de ce fait propose de bonnes performances mono cœur sur le court terme. Le GPU est maintenant appelé Intel UHD Graphics 620, mais reste autrement identique à l'Intel HD Graphics 620. Le contrôleur de mémoire installé supporte la mémoire DDR4-2400 / LPDDR3-2133 et double canal.
i7-8650U:
Processeur quadricœur basse consommation basé sur la technologie Kaby-Lake-Refresh. Les quatre cœurs sont cadencés entre 1,9 et 4,2 GHz (Turbo Boost) et prennent en charge HyperThreading. Le GPU intégré est cadencé entre 300 et 1 150 MHz. Le SoC est fabriqué selon un processus FinFET 14nm+.
Intel Tiger Lake:

Processeur quadricœur à faible puissance basé sur Tiger Lake pour les ordinateurs portables minces et légers. Les quatre cœurs tournent autour de 2,8 - 4,7 GHz. Produit en 10nm+ chez Intel.
