EN→FROnePlus Pad 4 comes with a starting price tag of Rs 59,999. The Android tablet is a well-rounded flagship tablet. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 performance is class-leading, the display is large, sharp, and colour-accurate, the battery life is exceptional, and the new stylus and keyboard accessories are genuinely impressive additions. This is overall a very capable tablet with an incredibly slim profile, a large high-resolution display, powerful speakers, excellent performance, clean and functional software with exceptional multitasking capabilities, and good battery life.

EN→FRThe OnePlus Pad 4 is a better tablet than its predecessor, but it’s not a dramatically different one. Most of the improvements here are incremental. Performance is more consistent, battery life is slightly better, and the overall experience feels more refined. But at the same time, the core experience remains largely unchanged. That makes this a slightly tricky device to evaluate. If you’re buying a tablet fresh, the Pad 4 makes a strong case. It’s fast, reliable, and well-suited for both work and entertainment. However, if you’re already using the previous generation, the upgrade is harder to justify. The improvements are real, but they’re not significant enough to feel like a clear step up in everyday use. What the OnePlus Pad 4 ultimately represents is a more mature version of the same device.

EN→FRWhen I began my tech writing journey in the 2010s, tablets weren’t taken seriously by a section of consumers. We, as young tech journalists back then, were often given tablets for review, and the general perception was that tablets were neither as powerful as laptops nor as convenient as smartphones. Even the iPad, although the gold standard in tablets, had its fair share of flaws and was never considered a Mac replacement. Cut to 2026, and I would be lying if I said tablets, as a product category, still surprise me. There have been many ups and downs, from being mocked as poor cousins of smartphones to becoming some of the most versatile devices available today.

EN→FRThe OnePlus Pad 4 takes everything Android tablets have been trying to get right for years and brings it together in one cohesive package. It delivers excellent performance, a large and vibrant display, and a refined OxygenOS 16 experience that makes multitasking useful. Features like Open Canvas and cross-device integration add real productivity value, while the Stylo Pro enhances creativity and note-taking. Battery life is another strong point. It's not perfect, and won't replace a laptop for everyone, but it gets closer than most.

EN→FRThe OnePlus Pad 4 sets a new benchmark for Android tablets in India. An AnTuTu score of 3,960,840, a PCMark battery result of 14 hours and 32 minutes, and a 3.4K 144Hz display; each of these is the best we have recorded in its category for a tablet tested in India. That those three things coexist in a 5.94mm, 672-gram device is genuinely impressive. OxygenOS 16’s productivity features are the most serious attempt at a laptop-replacing experience on an Android tablet yet. Five free-flow windows, overhauled file management, second-screen functionality, and cross-device connectivity across Android, iOS, Windows, and Mac make the Pad 4 a convincing case for leaving the laptop behind. The accessories are sold separately, which means the full laptop-replacing vision comes at a cost beyond the tablet’s price. While the tablet is excellent in performance, software, and battery life, a display this big and spec’d out should have supported HD streaming on Netflix and Prime Video out of the box.

EN→FRThe OnePlus Pad 4 starts at INR 59,999 ($633) for the 8+256GB model, but we would once again implore buyers to go for the 12+512GB model at INR 64,999 ($685). The Pad 4 is not a substantial upgrade over the Pad 3. It is faster, but the Pad 3 was no slouch, either, and that's really the main difference between the two. The more notable difference would likely come from the new accessories, as the OnePlus Pad 4 gets a nice new keyboard and stylus that are exclusive to it. But being similar to its predecessor also means carrying forward its shortcomings. We would have liked to see an OLED display at this point; the missing fingerprint sensor and cellular option are frustrating, and the software lacks polish, most notably seen in the complete lack of palm rejection around the bezels.

EN→FRThe OnePlus Pad 4 is a solid but restrained upgrade over the Pad 3. It brings better performance, improved battery life, and a slightly brighter display, while keeping the same overall design and experience. It is a dependable tablet for media, work, and gaming, but the lack of a fingerprint sensor, no cellular option, and minimal changes make it feel more like a refinement than a true upgrade. If you are on an older OnePlus tablet, it makes sense to buy the Pad 4 model. If you already have the Pad 3, there is little reason to switch.

EN→FRThe OnePlus Pad 4 feels like a product made with confidence. I feel that the company clearly understood that the foundation was already strong, so instead of changing everything for the sake of it, it focused on improving the areas that really matter in daily use. To give you a refresher, the Pad 4 brings a brighter display, excellent battery life, dependable speakers, smooth software, and flagship-grade performance that never leaves you wanting for more.

EN→FRBased on our first impressions, the OnePlus Pad 4 feels like a more confident step forward for the brand's tablet lineup. Its slim design, understated Dune Glow finish, and large display give it a strong initial presence, while the core hardware and new Stylo Pro are indicative of a growing focus on productivity. However, how these elements come together in everyday use is something we will discuss in depth in our full review of the OnePlus Pad 4. So, stay tuned!

EN→FRThe OnePlus Pad 4 makes a strong early case for itself. The design is refined, the display is immediately impressive, and the software productivity ambitions are the most serious OnePlus has brought to a tablet. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 gives it the kind of headroom that should keep it competitive for years, and the 13,380mAh battery means charging anxiety is unlikely to be part of the conversation. If you’re thinking about buying a high-end tablet that’s not an iPad Air or Pro, you might want to wait for the OnePlus Pad 4’s price announcement, especially if you’re looking for high performance and a solid battery life.
