Samsung a fait un effort particulier pour réduire l'épaisseur et le poids du Galaxy A57. Heureusement, d'ailleurs ! En effet, c'est un peu le design du smartphone, proche de celui des Galaxy S, qui le sauve. C'est sur ce point et son processeur que le Galaxy A57 se distingue du Galaxy A56. Car pour le reste (écran, photo et batterie), c'est bis repetita et pour 50 euros de plus ! C'est pourquoi nous avons jugé qu'il ne fallait pas être aussi généreux avec ce nouveau modèle qu'avec le précédent, auquel nous avions attribué une meilleure note, en raison des améliorations apportées par rapport au Galaxy A55. Il nous fallait également tenir compte des concurrents, sérieux, qui font de plus gros efforts pour intégrer les nouvelles technologies, notamment en matière de photographie (téléobjectif pour le Realme 16 Pro+ ou le Nothing Phone 4a Pro) ou de batterie / recharge (technologie lithium-ion Si/C et recharge jusqu'à 100 W). Avec One UI et le logo Samsung, le Galaxy A57 n'est donc pas un mauvais smartphone, juste un peu trop paresseux cette année.

Cette année, comme tant d’autres constructeurs, Samsung gonfle les prix de ses smartphones de milieu de gamme. Le Galaxy A57 n’y échappe pas, et se présente donc à un tarif supérieur à 500€, le rendant de fait un peu moins alléchant. On reste toutefois face à un mobile Android redoutable, durable (il profitera de six ans de mises à jour), qui se distingue tout particulièrement par sa grande autonomie. Dans le protocole du Labo Fnac, il a tenu 16h42 avant de rendre l’âme ! RAS du côté des performances, la puce fait un excellent travail pour garantir une expérience d’une grande fluidité dans tous les domaines. Il n’y a guère qu’en gaming où quelques petites limites peuvent se faire ressentir — rien de dramatique. Toujours à l’aise en photo, le Galaxy A57 est aussi serti d’un bel écran AMOLED hyper fluide, et très lumineux. Du très bon, donc… mais toujours plus cher.

Avec le Galaxy A57 5G, Samsung signe un milieu de gamme sérieux, bien fini et globalement très convaincant. Son bel écran, sa bonne endurance, ses performances solides au quotidien et son support logiciel longue durée en font un smartphone complet et séduisant. On peut lui reprocher une chauffe sensible en jeu, une recharge encore un peu lente par rapport à ses rivaux, ainsi qu’un tarif en hausse qui le rend moins incontournable à son lancement. Reste un modèle très cohérent, agréable à utiliser et suffisamment complet pour s’imposer comme une valeur sûre sur ce segment. Si le Galaxy A57 n’évolue que timidement par rapport à son prédécesseur, il prend toutefois l’avantage sur le Pixel 10a en matière de puissance brute.

Prise en Main des nouveaux Samsung Galaxy A57 5G et A37 5G, l’IA pour le milieu de gamme

Sans surprise, les nouveaux Samsung Galaxy A57 5G et A37 5G jouent la continuité et les innovations ne se voient pas forcément tout de suite. Le design évolue peu mais on retrouve un finition digne de Samsung. OneUI 8.5 est toujours aussi agréable et Galaxy AI revient avec encore plus de fonctions. L’IA est encore nouveau et si on a pu voir l’apport et l’utilité de l’IA dans la vie de tous les jours, tout le monde est loin d’en être équipé. Samsung compte bien sur ces modèles plus accessibles pour permettre à l’IA de prendre son envol dans le grand public. Bien évidemment, on attendra de tester ces nouveaux smartphones avant de se prononcer mais on reste serein quand aux promesses de Samsung.

So yes, rain and accidental spills are no problem. The 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ display runs at 120Hz for smooth scrolling and hits 1900 nits peak brightness, so sunlight visibility is excellent. Under the hood, Samsung’s own Exynos 1680 chip (4nm) and up to 12GB of RAM handle daily tasks and casual gaming fine, though it is not a flagship beast. The software is a highlight Android 16 with One UI 8.5, and Samsung promises six major Android upgrades, so this phone could last you until 2032 or so. Storage options go up to 512GB, but there is no microSD card slot.

There's a lot to like about both the Galaxy A57 and the Galaxy A37. Both are smart-looking phones with large batteries, fast charging and some solid camera hardware hiding under the surface. Not to mention the fact that Samsung has added a lot of new AI features that you would otherwise only be able to get on the Galaxy S26 series. The fact that Samsung has increased the price still stings, especially since it seems to be affecting the American market more than the U.K. For the extra money, you'd hope Samsung would offer a little bit more of a substantial upgrade, but that isn't the case, especially not for the Galaxy A57.
