Le nouveau Swift 3 SF313 d’Acer est un appareil amélioré en tout par rapport à son prédécesseur. Il n’a pas été seulement redessiné pour avoir meilleure allure, mais ses composants ont également été mis à jour. Le dernier processeur Ice Lake d’Intel permet une petite hausse des performances qui, il faut l’avouer, aurait pu être supérieure. L’Intel Core i7-1065G7 est néanmoins efficace, et fait mieux que ses prédécesseurs Kaby Lake. Mais par rapport à d’autres appareils similaires, le Swift 3 reste à cet égard en retrait. Il marque des points avec son excellent design et sa qualité de construction. Et l’écran IPS lumineux reste véritablement bon, ainsi que son ratio 3:2.

L’Acer Swift 3 SF313 propose des performances correctes, une bonne autonomie, et un excellent écran, sans faire trop exploser le budget.

Parmi les défauts du PC portable, on peut noter les performances Wifi et le clavier, difficile à lire de jour à cause de son rétroéclairage blanc – mais cela s’améliore en le désactivant. La connectivité est moderne, bien que la présence d’un deuxième port UBS C n’aurait gêné personne… Nous n’aurions pas non plus craché sur un lecteur de carte et une version LTE.

Au bout du compte, le Swift 3 est un vrai progrès sur son prédécesseur, ce qui donne un ultraportable solide qui sera efficace en tant qu’appareil multimédia. Permettre l’ajout d’un stockage supplémentaire et rendre la RAM évolutive aurait permis à l’appareil d’être encore meilleur.
