L’Asus ROG Strix RTX 2070 OC est l’une des cartes graphiques RTX 2070 les plus rapides actuellement sur le marché, d’abord grâce à sa fréquence de boost plus élevée. Les revendeurs en ligne la vendent aux alentours de 760 €, tandis que les versions standard et Advanced devraient être disponibles pour respectivement 20 et 10 € de moins. Nous recommandons la version OC si la différence de prix reste la même, puisqu’elle possède une puissance supérieure pour un prix presque identique.

Le prix des cartes graphiques reste cependant surestimé, et c’est un marché sur lequel Nvidia est à la peine en termes de prix par rapport à AMD. La RTX 2070 est plus efficiente et plus performante que la Radeon RX Vega 64, mais celle-ci est entre 150 et 200 € moins chère.

Pour l’instant, aucun jeu n’utilise le raytracing en temps réel, ni le DLSS qui équipent la série RTX. Le temps dira ce que ces nouvelles technologies apportent aux jeux.

Avec sa ROG Strix RTX 2070 OC, Asus cible prioritairement ceux qui veulent avant tout jouer en WQHD ou en UHD, aux réglages graphiques les plus élevés.

Au final, les performances de la RTX 2070 se situent entre celles de la GeForce GTX 1080 et de la GTX 1080 Ti. Nous recommandons de la coupler à d’autres composants puissants, comme dans notre configuration. L’AMD Ryzen 7 2700X est un processeur puissant, avec un bon rapport qualité - prix. L’équivalent Intel atteint des performances légèrement supérieures grâce à son IPC supérieur, mais à un coût incroyablement plus élevé. Malheureusement, nous n’avons pas eu le temps d’effectuer tous nos tests avec l’Intel Core i9-9900K avant de publier ce test.
