AMD R7 2700X

L'AMD Ryzen 7 2700X est un processeur de bureau haut de gamme à 8 cœurs (16 cœurs logiques) annoncé début 2018. Il est basé sur les cœurs Zen+ revus. C'était le processeur Ryzen le plus rapide lors de son lancement. Les cœurs montent de base à 3,7 GHz, et montent à 4,3 GHz grâce à Precision Boost 2. Les 8 cœurs physiques et les 16 cœurs logiques peuvent monter jusqu'à 4 GHz. Les 8 cœurs sont divisés en 2 clusters (4 cœurs chacun, avec leur cache L3 propre) connectés via l'interface Infinity Fabric.

Par rapport à l'ancienne génération Ryzen (par exemple le Ryzen 5 1700X), la deuxième génération est fabriquée grâce à un procédé de gravure amélioré (appelé 12 nm), propose un Precision Boost 2 amélioré (spécialement en cas de charge partielle des cœurs) et des vitesses de cache et de mémoire plus rapides.
