Joueur bon marché. Le Legion Y540 est peut-être un portable de jeu RTX, mais Lenovo vend aussi des variantes GTX qui pourraient être plus adaptées pour les joueurs moins fortunés. Passer à une GeForce GTX 1660 Ti fait baisser le prix d’environ 20 %, à 1 400 €, ce qui n’est pas négligeable. Le Lenovo Legion Y540-15IRH reste un portable de jeu puissant qui peut faire tourner tous les jeux triple A récents en 1080p, malgré le passage à une carte graphique GTX 1660 Ti. Alors que la carte Turing ne prend pas en charge le DLSS ou le ray tracing à la différence de la RTX 2060, cette dernière n’est pas assez puissante pour utiliser pleinement ces nouvelles technologies, ce qui fait que l’on ne les regrettera pas vraiment en lui préférant la GTX 1660 Ti.

En bref, le Y540-15IRH est un portable de jeu du milieu de gamme qui peut maintenir son potentiel sur des périodes prolongées, grâce à son refroidissement plutôt efficace. L’appareil possède également de bonnes possibilités de maintenance, et un emplacement de 2,5 pouces est disponible pour ceux qui ont besoin de plus de place.

Le Lenovo Legion Y540-15IRH-81SX00B2GE est un portable de jeu puissant, malgré l’absence de carte RTX.

Le plus bizarre avec le Y540-15IRH est le choix de Lenovo de désactiver le GPU intégré par défaut, la GTX 1660 Ti étant toujours active. L’autonomie est donc mauvaise par défaut, mais il est possible d’activer le GPU intégré dans le BIOS, ce qui augmente largement l’autonomie. Cela mis à part, le Lenovo Legion Y540-15IRH est un excellent appareil pour son prix, de ceux que l’on peut recommander pour qui cherche un portable de jeu de 15,6 pouces.
