Afin d'abaisser la luminosité de l'écran, certains ordinateurs portables font varier très rapidement le rétroéclairage entre éteint et allumé. La fréquence à laquelle le rétroéclairage s'éteint et se rallume est normalement fixée à une valeur qui permet de rendre la variation indétectable à l'œil nu? Si la fréquence est trop basse, certaines personnes peuvent être sujettes à une fatigue oculaire, des maux de tête ou même percevoir les variations.

Le temps de réponse d'un écran mesure la rapidité à laquelle l'écran est capable de changer une couleur pour une autre. Un temps de réponse élevé se traduit par une image floutée pour les objets en mouvement. Les joueurs bénéficieront de faibles latences d'affichage en jeu.

Le Nokia 4.2 s’avère être un smartphone fiable, à un prix abordable. Malgré son stockage réduit, le système est fluide est n’a pas de difficultés à faire tourner les applis simples du quotidien telles qu’un navigateur web, WhatsApp, ou l’appli d’emails. L’autonomie répond également à nos attentes vu sa capacité, et l’appareil photo est plus qu’adapté à la gamme de prix.

Les clients du Nokia 4.2 reçoivent un smartphone abordable avec de bons équipements matériels. La touche dédiée pour Google Assistant est une fonctionnalité unique et utile.

De plus, il est également possible d’utiliser deux cartes nano SIM et une carte micro SD en même temps. Cela signifie que l’utilisateur n’aura pas à décider entre plus de stockage et l’utilisation d’une deuxième SIM. Le fait que les applis ne puissent pas être déplacées vers le stockage est un peu dommage, puisque cela fait qu’il n’y a qu’un peu d’espace pour installer les applis. De plus, il n’est pas possible de créer des comptes utilisateur, ce qui limite la possibilité de partager l’appareil entre différentes personnes.
