Un Sony d'entrée de gamme. Le Xperia L3 reprend certaines caractéristiques de ses prédécesseurs, tout en traçant son propre chemin avec un design plus moderne. Pour environ 200 €, les utilisateurs de ce smartphone fin au format 2:1 auront droit à un double capteur photo et à la possibilité d’utiliser simultanément une carte micro SD et deux cartes SIM. Nous allons voir dans ce rapport de test quels sont les autres points forts du Sony Xperia L3.

Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion)

Afin d'abaisser la luminosité de l'écran, certains ordinateurs portables font varier très rapidement le rétroéclairage entre éteint et allumé. La fréquence à laquelle le rétroéclairage s'éteint et se rallume est normalement fixée à une valeur qui permet de rendre la variation indétectable à l'œil nu? Si la fréquence est trop basse, certaines personnes peuvent être sujettes à une fatigue oculaire, des maux de tête ou même percevoir les variations.

Le temps de réponse d'un écran mesure la rapidité à laquelle l'écran est capable de changer une couleur pour une autre. Un temps de réponse élevé se traduit par une image floutée pour les objets en mouvement. Les joueurs bénéficieront de faibles latences d'affichage en jeu.

Avec le Xperia L3, Sony propose un smartphone avec un bon rapport qualité / prix. Les composants correspondent à la gamme tarifaire, et les performances suffisantes pour toutes les tâches du quotidien. Le double capteur prend des photos correctes, et le haut-parleur pourra même convenir occasionnellement à la lecture de médias. L’autonomie est également au niveau de la concurrence, et le design est enfin au goût du jour.

Cependant, nos tests révèlent également des défauts, surtout liées à la partie logicielle. Plusieurs applis de test n’ont pas pu être lancées, ou n’ont pas réussi à détecter la connexion Internet - les utilisateurs verront si ce sont des problèmes généralisés ou non. Dans tous les cas, une mise à jour logicielle pourrait facilement corriger ces problèmes s’ils étaient généralisés.

Alors que le Sony Xperia L3 est un bon smartphone d’entrée de gamme, il doit composer avec des problèmes logiciels.
