Déjà vu Le dernier portable de 14 pouces de HP est équipé d’un processeur quadricœur, de 4 Go de RAM double canal, et de mémoire Intel Optane. Malheureusement, l’écran est plus que décevant.

Afin d'abaisser la luminosité de l'écran, certains ordinateurs portables font varier très rapidement le rétroéclairage entre éteint et allumé. Le HP 14-ma0312ng est un portable de bureau de 14 pouces assez puissant pour n’importe quels logiciels Internet ou de bureautique, grâce à son processeur quadricœur Intel Core i5-8250U. De plus, l’appareil fonctionne en mode double canal, et est équipé d’un disque à mémoire Intel Optane qui le distingue de la concurrence.

Alors que le clavier est suffisamment bon pour un usage au quotidien, l’absence de rétroéclairage est dommageable. Le 14-ma0312ng ne gagnera pas le prix de l’autonomie, mais celle-ci suffira pour la plupart des utilisations.

Le HP 14-ma0312ng est un appareil de bureau honnête, gâché par certains composants datés.

Les autres composants sont sans relief, voire mauvais. L’écran TN est sombre, faiblement contrasté, et ses angles de vision sont mauvais. Il a également une faible résolution, à 1366 x 768p. De plus, le Wifi est lent, et il n’y a pas de Wifi 802.11 ac, qui devrait être la norme en 2018. Même le lecteur de carte est lent.
