Coche les bonnes cases. Avec le design du One Max, Umidigi suit les pas des smartphones géants du moment. Avec son encoche "en goutte d’eau" et ses couleurs sombres, l’Umidigi One Max coche toutes les cases du smartphone moderne, mais ne dédaigne pas pour autant être original, avec son capteur d’empreintes digitales sur le côté. Dans ce rapport de test, nous verrons ce que peuvent attendre les clients potentiels de ce smartphone abordable venu de Chine.

Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion)

Afin d'abaisser la luminosité de l'écran, certains ordinateurs portables font varier très rapidement le rétroéclairage entre éteint et allumé. La fréquence à laquelle le rétroéclairage s'éteint et se rallume est normalement fixée à une valeur qui permet de rendre la variation indétectable à l'œil nu? Si la fréquence est trop basse, certaines personnes peuvent être sujettes à une fatigue oculaire, des maux de tête ou même percevoir les variations.
Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion) décelé 62.5 Hz ≤ 10 Niveau de luminosité

Le rétroéclairage de l'écran scintille à la fréquence de 62.5 Hz (certainement du fait de l'utilisation d'une MDI - Modulation de largeur d'impulsion) à un niveau de luminosité inférieur ou égal à 10 % . Aucun scintillement ne devrait être perceptible au-dessus de cette valeur.

La fréquence de rafraîchissement de 62.5 Hz est extrêmement faible, de grands risques de fatigue oculaire accrue et de maux de tête en cas d'utilisation prolongée.

En comparaison, 51 % des appareils testés n'emploient pas MDI pour assombrir leur écran. Nous avons relevé une moyenne à 9596 (minimum : 43 - maximum : 142900) Hz dans le cas où une MDI était active.

Temps de réponse de l'écran

Le temps de réponse d'un écran mesure la rapidité à laquelle l'écran est capable de changer une couleur pour une autre. Un temps de réponse élevé se traduit par une image floutée pour les objets en mouvement. Les joueurs bénéficieront de faibles latences d'affichage en jeu.

Nos tests montrent que l’Umidigi One Max est un bon smartphone du milieu de gamme, qui cherche à impressionner avec son design moderne. L’encoche "en goutte d’eau" et l’écran presque sans bordures laissent une bonne impression. Le stockage interne est abondant, et les bons capteurs photo, au moins sur le papier, sont capables de fournir plus que des photos occasionnelles.

L’Umidigi One Max impressionne par son design et son prix maîtrisé. Mais il faudra accepter un certain nombre de compromis.

En utilisant l’appareil, on note ainsi un certain nombre de défauts. Les performances sont inférieures à la moyenne, et l’appareil chauffe lors d’un usage classique. Ceux qui accepteront ces défauts auront néanmoins un smartphone qui peut gérer aisément les tâches classiques du quotidien et qui, grâce à un Android pur, n’est pas encombré des bloatwares qui envahissent beaucoup d’autres appareils.
