Le Bokeh parfait. HTC met en avant les effets d’appareil photo hors du commun du U12 Life, capables de satisfaire les aspirations artistiques de tous. De plus, il est capable d’enregistrer en 4K, est censé embarquer un SoC hautes performances, et posséder une bonne autonomie. Voyons si ces affirmations sont vérifiées dans nos tests, et lesquelles sont exagérées par un service marketing un peu trop enthousiaste.

Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion)

Afin d'abaisser la luminosité de l'écran, certains ordinateurs portables font varier très rapidement le rétroéclairage entre éteint et allumé. La fréquence à laquelle le rétroéclairage s'éteint et se rallume est normalement fixée à une valeur qui permet de rendre la variation indétectable à l'œil nu? Si la fréquence est trop basse, certaines personnes peuvent être sujettes à une fatigue oculaire, des maux de tête ou même percevoir les variations.

Tout au long de nos tests, le HTC U12 s’est avéré être un solide smartphone du milieu de gamme, avec des performances globales honnêtes, et capable d’effectuer des tâches exigeantes sans trop de difficultés. La qualité des haut-parleurs et des appels est honnête.

Le HTC U12 est un solide smartphone du milieu de gamme avec des performances globales tout à fait honnêtes. Mais les fonctionnalités de l’appareil photo si vantées sont en fait à peu près inutiles.

Les appareils photo nous ont ainsi déçus. S’il est vrai que l’effet Bokeh mis en avant par HTC fonctionne très bien avec les objets proches, les autres fonctionnalités de l’appareil photo sont au mieux médiocres. L’autonomie n’est pas non plus extraordinaire, mais cela est compensé par des performances globales vraiment pas mauvaises.
