It's a close-run thing between the HP Stream 11 and the Asus EeeBook X205TA. The Stream 11 has a small performance advantage thanks to its higher clock speed, and the screen is marginally better. Yes, if you have to stick to a tight budget. For £179.99, the HP Stream 11 is ridiculously good value for money for a Windows laptop, particularly considering you get an Office 365 subscription worth over £50 with it. Key features like battery life, speaker quality and design all left really good impressions on us, and ensure the Stream 11 will serve almost any student well. It might not allow you to watch all of the Rocky films back-to-back, but it’s more than good enough for casual entertainment and work.

If you have constant Internet access or a spare $12 to $40 for a 64GB microSD card, you won't have to worry about running out of room on the 32GB SSD.

Overall, with a full version of Windows 8.1, 1TB of cloud storage, and access to Office 365, it is obvious that Microsoft has designed the Stream 11 to occupy a market that was previously taken over by Chromebooks. The x360 is as well made and stylish as most Chromebooks but offers the full Windows experience which, at version 8.1, ain't at all bad. Once you install Chrome and the Google apps launcher you pretty much have a Chromebook anyway. The build quality, design and basic hardware of the x360 are all better than I expected for the price making it a hard machine to criticise.

HP:
Fondée en 1939, la société américaine est un important fabricant de serveurs et d'imprimantes et l'une des principales sociétés informatiques au monde. Jusqu'en 2015, la société s'appelait Hewlett-Packard Company. Après une scission, la division informatique a été renommée HP Inc.
En 2023, HP détenait une part de marché approximative de 22 % des ventes mondiales de PC, ce qui en faisait le numéro 2 après Lenovo.
La plupart des jeux pas trop demandants actuels peuvent tourner de façon fluide. soyez prêts à endurer un rendu graphique assez moche à cause de la basse résolution et des détails au minimum. Par ailleurs ces cartes sont suffisantes pour un travail de bureau et le visionnage de vidéos (pas évident pour la vidéo HD).
AMD Radeon R3 (Mullins/Beema):
Circuit graphique intégré dans certains APU AMD Beema et Mullins, basé sur l'architecture GCN embarquant 128 unités de calcul shader cadencées entre 350 et 600 MHz.
Intel HD Graphics (Braswell):
Carte graphique intégrée aux processeurs Intel Braswell (Celeron et Pentium), basée sur l'architecture Broadwell (Intel Gen8) prenant en charge les instructions DirectX 11.2. En fonction du processeur, la carte offre soit 12 unités de calcul, soit 16. Les fréquences varient aussi en fonction du processeur
Intel HD Graphics 400 (Braswell):
Carte graphique intégrée dans les processeurs Intel de la série Braswell (2016 Celeron). Basée sur l'architecture Broadwell (Intel Gen8), elle prend en charge DirectX 11.2. Selon le processeur, elle offre 12 cœurs de shaders (EU) et différentes vitesses d'horloge.
Intel UHD Graphics 600:
Carte graphique intégrée d'entrée de gamme avec compatibilité DirectX 12, qui peut être trouvée dans certains SoC de la série ULV Gemini Lake. Par rapport à la HD Graphics 500, la 600 possède des sorties vidéos améliorées. Par rapport à la UHD Graphics 605 plus puissante, la 600 possède moins de nuanceurs à une fréquence inférieure.
Seuls les vieux jeux peuvent tourner de façon fluide sur ces ordinateurs (S'ils ne sont pas trop gourmands en ressources). Les coeurs à mémoire partagée de cette catégorie ont l'avantage d'être moins chaud et moins gourmand en énergie. Pour le bureau, internet, l'édition de photos, et le montage vidéo ces cartes graphiques n'ont aucune restrictions.
Intel HD Graphics (Bay Trail): Carte graphique intégrée pour tablette et ordinateur portable intégrant le SoC Bay Trail. Basée sur la carte graphique intégrée de la génération Ivy Bridge avec quatre unités d'exécution et le support de la librairie DirectX 11.

Intel Atom:
Le processeur Intel Atom est un microprocesseur 64-bits pour ordinateurs portables petits et bon marché, les MIDs ou UMPC. La spécialité de la nouvelle architecture est dans le mode d'exécution "in order" (au lieu de l'habituel et plus rapide mode d'exécution "out of order"). Par conséquent, le coût du transistor de la série Atom est beaucoup plus faible, et donc moins cher à produire.
Z3735G: SoC Intel intégrant un processeur Intel Atom quad-core cadencé jusqu'à 1.83 GHz, une carte graphique intégrée Intel HD Graphics et un contrôleur mémoire mono canal DDR3L-RS-1333 (32 bit).
