There's no denying that the Creator Z17 is an expensive laptop. We’re in 16in Macbook Pro territory here, and while the MSI is no slouch in the performance department, it’s heavy and doesn’t last very long on batteries. Getting this kind of power into a laptop chassis is no mean feat, however. The cooling system alone consists of three fans and five heatpipes, and MSI has to be congratulated for the engineering that’s gone on here. That’s not a reason to buy it, though – the Creator Z17 is for you if you want a whole lot of computing power that you can pick up and carry with you. Just don’t travel too far away from a charger.

The Z17 is one of the more successful efforts to combine desktop performance with a laptop form factor which makes it a highly recommendable workstation despite the high price tag. The display is arguably the Z17's star attraction, it really is very good indeed while the potent chipset can produce performance stronger than anything other than a very high-end gaming laptop. MSI could have made better use of the expansive deck for a bigger keyboard while adding more storage or RAM really shouldn't involve taking your laptop apart and the fact that you don't get a pen or a LAN adapter in the box seems parsimonious. But those are ultimately minor criticisms of what is a very impressive creative tool.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU:
Carte graphique haut de gamme pour ordinateur portable basée sur la puce Ampere GA103S. Au moment de son lancement, début 2022, la 3080 Ti est la carte graphique pour ordinateur portable la plus rapide du marché.
Ces cartes graphiques devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux récents (avec quelques exceptions) en haute résolution avec un bon niveau de détail.

Un processeur mobile basé sur Alder-Lake avec 6 cœurs de performance et 8 cœurs efficaces. Les cœurs de performance offrent un hyper threading, ce qui permet de traiter 20 threads. Le processeur fonctionne à des fréquences allant de 1,8 à 5 GHz et prend en charge vPro.
