Le NUC Intel Comet Lake est un mini PC très compact et très efficient avec beaucoup de superlatifs. Notre NUC10i5FNK de test est vendu un peu plus de 800 $ et s’équipe d’un Intel Core i5-10210U, de 8 Go de RAM, d’un SSD de 256 Go, et de Windows 10. L’appareil s’installe rapidement, et le mini PC de bureau sera prêt en un rien de temps. Mais si vous préférez choisir votre configuration, il est possible de commander le NUC sans SSD, sans RAM et sans Windows – pour environ 500 $.

Ceux qui sont intéressés par un mini PC ne peuvent se tromper en choisissant l’Intel NUC NUC10i5FNK. Ses composants dernier cri et ses qualités intrinsèques en font un appareil très séduisant, même pour le long terme.

Au regard des performances, ce PC compact est bien équipé, et à jour, avec la dernière technologie Wifi en date, et un SoC Intel Comet Lake (Intel Core i5-10210U). Quatre micros et un récepteur infrarouge le rendent particulièrement adapté comme appareil de streaming. Les ports sont nombreux, même si le deuxième port HDMI a dû être abandonné pour faire de la place au port Thunderbolt 3. Celui-ci est cependant bien plus moderne et polyvalent. Il y a toujours un lecteur de cartes SD, compatible UHS-II.

L’allure comme la construction sont ici au meilleur niveau, même si nous aurions préféré une surface matte sur le dessus. Aucun doute, le dessus noir brillant est séduisant, mais il ne le restera pas très longtemps… Un autre souci est lié au système de refroidissement : s’il fonctionne bien en cas de sollicitations et garde le SoC frais en permanence, le niveau sonore n’est pas des meilleurs, vu qu’il est toujours actif, même avec de faibles sollicitations. Heureusement, il n’est vraiment gênant qu’en cas de grosses sollicitations.
