Le HP Pavilion Gaming 16 est un PC portable de jeu à prix contenu avec de bons composants. Malgré son écran plus grand, il n'est pas plus encombrant qu'un portable de 15,6 pouces du même genre. Nous testons ici le modèle équipé d'un Intel Core i5-10300H et d'une Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti. Ce modèle est disponible pour environ 900 €, ce qui est tout à fait justifié au vu des spécifications. La taille du stockage peut être critiquée, parce que les 512 Go ne sont pas énormes pour un PC de jeu. Cependant, cette capacité peut facilement être augmentée. Dans notre test, le Pavilion Gaming 16 fournit un bon niveau de performances, même si la GeForce GTX 1650 Ti est une carte dédiée d'entrée de gamme. Cela dit, elle est quand même capable de faire tourner beaucoup de jeux en 1080p avec les réglages au maximum.

Le HP Pavilion Gaming 16 est un PC portable de jeu au  très bon rapport performances / prix.

Il faudra cependant accepter des performances multicœur réduites, le Core i5-10300H n'ayant que quatre cœurs. En ce qui concerne les ports, le Pavilion Gaming 16 ne propose que le minimum. Un port USB A aurait été apprécié. Le Wifi 6 serait également un bon ajout. Enfin, notre appareil possède 16 Go de RAM et un écran IPS avec un bon contraste.
