Mise à jour Whiskey Lake décevante La sixième génération de la station de travail ZBook 15u de HP propose un bon nombre de configurations. Il y a par exemple un écran 4K, un processeur Intel Core i7, et une carte graphique dédiée, le tout disponible pour environ 2 000 €. Découvrez si cela vaut le coup de passer à ce nouveau modèle, ou si l’on fera mieux de garder le prédécesseur.

Le HP ZBook 15u G6 n’offre qu’une légère hausse de performances par rapport à son prédécesseur. Nous avons été particulièrement déçus par les performances du processeur par rapport au ZBook 15u G5. La carte graphique AMD Radeon Pro WX 3200 est en revanche plus performante, et le stockage est également efficace dans les tests. Nous avons été particulièrement impressionnés par l’écran 4K, qui offre une luminosité maximale élevée, des couleurs vives, et un très bon contraste. La surface matte fait qu’il est possible d’utiliser la machine à l’extérieur sans avoir à lutter contre des reflets gênants.

HP n’a pas fait beaucoup de changements dans le ZBook 15u G6. Et si nous sommes un peu déçus par la mise à jour matérielle, l’écran 4K est excellent.

Les innovations étant limitées aux entrailles du ZBook 15u G6, les clients auront toujours un châssis de haute qualité et de très bons périphériques d’entrée. La sélection des ports un peu réduite sera vite compensée par la présence d’un port Thunderbolt 3, et le Wifi est rapide – ce qui rend l’évolutivité en berne acceptable. Ceux qui ont déjà un ZBook 15u G5 ne bénéficieront d’un passage au successeur que si les performances graphiques sont importantes pour eux au quotidien.
