Compact et léger avec MX250. Avec le Swift 3, Acer propose une machine élégante et très mobile. Avec son châssis élégant en aluminium et sa taille réduite, le portable de 14 pouces est au premier abord capable de répondre à cette promesse. Dans nos tests, l’Acer Swift 3 montre de bonnes performances avec les logiciels de bureautique exigeants, et du jeu occasionnel à des réglages graphiques faibles. Alors que les performances de l’i7-8565U baissent légèrement après un court délai, elles se maintiennent ensuite à un niveau supérieur que le Core i7-8550U ou que le Ryzen 5 PRO 2500U. Avec près de 8h, l’autonomie est également bonne, ce qui combiné à la compacité du Swift 3, le rend adapté aux nomades.

Avec des composants plus puissants, l’Acer Swift 3 est plus performant que son prédécesseur. Mais cela se paye par une autonomie plus courte et une consommation supérieure.

En ce qui concerne l’écran, Acer recule par rapport à notre test de janvier 2019. Bien que la luminosité soit légèrement supérieure, la MLI à une fréquence bien inférieure est utilisée. Alors que la Nvidia GeForce MX250 propose de bonnes performances, cela s’accompagne d’une consommation supérieure et d’une autonomie moindre. Pour ceux qui peuvent accepter une autonomie en baisse en échange de meilleures performances, le Swift 3 vaut d’être regardé de plus près.
