L’IdeaPad Flex 14API de Lenovo est équipé d’un puissant APU Ryzen 5 3500U. Dans Cinebench R15, le CPU est significativement plus puissant que le processeur quadricœur Core i5-8265U qui équipe le Lenovo Flex 14IWL, autrement identique à notre machine. La carte graphique intégrée est bien plus rapide que ses alter-ego Intel, et permet même de jouer un peu.

L’IdeaPad Flex 14 API de Lenovo est un convertible équilibré, pour un usage privé. Malheureusement, il possède quelques défauts.

Le système paraît vraiment fluide grâce à son SSD NVMe, qui peut être remplacé après que l’on ait enlevé la coque inférieure. Le clavier est réussi, tout en étant rétroéclairé. L’autonomie est correcte, mais notablement moins bonne que celle du Flex 14 Intel.

L’écran tactile IPS possède d’excellents angles de vision, et une couverture correcte des espaces colorimétriques. En plus des doigts, il prend en charge le style Lenovo Active Pen 2, qui coûte environ 50 €.
