Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion)

Afin d'abaisser la luminosité de l'écran, certains ordinateurs portables font varier très rapidement le rétroéclairage entre éteint et allumé. La fréquence à laquelle le rétroéclairage s'éteint et se rallume est normalement fixée à une valeur qui permet de rendre la variation indétectable à l'œil nu? Si la fréquence est trop basse, certaines personnes peuvent être sujettes à une fatigue oculaire, des maux de tête ou même percevoir les variations.
Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion) décelé 21000 Hz ≤ 90 Niveau de luminosité

Le rétroéclairage de l'écran scintille à la fréquence de 21000 Hz (certainement du fait de l'utilisation d'une MDI - Modulation de largeur d'impulsion) à un niveau de luminosité inférieur ou égal à 90 % . Aucun scintillement ne devrait être perceptible au-dessus de cette valeur.

La fréquence de rafraîchissement de 21000 Hz est élevée, la grande majorité des utilisateurs ne devrait pas percevoir de scintillements et être sujette à une fatigue oculaire accrue.

Avec le Legion Y520 80WK0042, Lenovo propose un portable de 15,6 pouces équipé d’un processeur quatre cœurs Kaby Lake, et d’une carte graphique GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. Cet équipement permet de jouer à la plupart des jeux fluidement, en haute résolution et à un niveau de détails moyen ou élevé. Pour les jeux très gourmands, il faudra baisser la résolution ou la qualité. Le portable ne chauffe pas trop, et il tourne la plupart du temps silencieusement, au moins au ralenti.

Avec le Legion Y520-15IKBN, Lenovo propose un portable d’entré de jeu bien équipé.

Grâce au bon clavier est à son fonctionnement silencieux au repos et lors de sollicitations réduites, l’appareil est également utilisable au bureau. Le SSD NVMe très rapide permet au système de tourner fluidement. Le stockage nécessaire aux jeux est fourni grâce au disque dur de 2,5 pouces, également présent. Les deux disques peuvent être changés, en ouvrant le châssis. La luminosité et le contraste de la dalle IPS Full HD sont corrects, mais auraient pu être un peu meilleurs.
