Après avoir testé le "grand" Inspiron 16 Plus 7610 avec une GeForce RTX 3050 et un i7, nous nous intéressons maintenant au modèle d'entrée de gamme. Cette fois, le i7-11800H arrive en solo sans dGPU. Sera-t-il capable de contrer la plainte concernant le développement inférieur à la moyenne des performances du processeur ?

Bien qu'encore rares, les ordinateurs portables convertibles de 16 pouces sont de plus en plus courants de nos jours. L'Insprion 16 7620 2-en-1 est l'un des plus abordables de sa catégorie et il est même équipé des derniers CPU Intel de 12e génération et des GPU GeForce MX pour être aussi rapide, voire plus, que la plupart des autres convertibles.
Bien qu'encore rares, les ordinateurs portables convertibles de 16 pouces sont de plus en plus courants de nos jours. L'Insprion 16 7620 2-en-1 est l'un des plus abordables de sa catégorie et il est même équipé des derniers CPU Intel de 12e génération et des GPU GeForce MX pour être aussi rapide, voire plus, que la plupart des autres convertibles.

Ce n’est pas pratique, alors que l’ensemble du PC est performant. Le Dell Inspiron 7620 2 en 1 est un ordinateur pratique et performant, avec ce côté convertible vraiment agréable, mais on se demande à quoi bon sur une machine de 16 pouces. Malgré-tout, les performances sont bonnes et l'ordinateur est convaincant, si l'on oublie l'écran pas au sommet de ce que sait faire Dell.

The Full HD display won’t blow you away, but if you want a better display then the 4K OLED option won’t break the bank. The Dell is a fair bit heavier than the obvious competition from LG and Samsung, but it feels more solidly put together than either of those models. For potential business users, the absence of a numeric keypad may be an issue, but for most home users I suspect that using the space for the mighty speaker system is the right choice. It’s a shame Dell doesn’t bundle a stylus, though – 2-in-1s really shouldn’t ship without one.

The pros far outweigh the cons of this Dell Inspiron 16 laptop and the price is justifiable. Compared to the previous AMD-based Inspiron 15, this generation offers a larger screen, improved inputs and audio, and a bump in overall performance, while still remaining compact and lightweight for what it is, as well as ergonomic and efficient on battery. It's a pitty Dell don't offer a better display for this series, though.

Le Dell Inspiron 16 Plus 7620 est un bon ordinateur portable, qui affiche quelques performances fort honnêtes, le tout dans un look d’une sobriété rarement constatée. Mais le tout fonctionne bien, l’autonomie est convenable, l’écran adopte une résolution élevée, le processeur et le reste des composants sont en belle corrélation, il est justement dommage que l’option carte graphique soit aussi onéreuse. le Dell Inspiron 16 Plus 7620 est une bonne machine. S'il n'est pas exempt de petits défauts, il reste tout de même performant et si l'on doit choisir un bon ordinateur portable, performant et à un prix convenable, c'est certainement un choix très intéressant.

Difficile de prendre réellement en défaut l’Inspiron 16 Plus. La prestation de l’appareil est solide sur la plupart des points clés, ce qui fait de lui un très bon ordinateur portable grand format… et finalement bien plus grand public que l’on aurait pu l’imaginer de prime abord. Bien pensé et sérieusement assemblé, il profite d’un niveau de puissance généreux grâce à un Core i7-12700H bien exploité et propose une expérience convaincante à bien des égards. Nous regrettons néanmoins que Dell n’ait pas accordé plus de soin à la calibration de son écran ainsi qu’à la conception du clavier. Ce dernier gagnerait à mieux occuper l’espace disponible pour offrir plus de confort au quotidien.

Il est une chose qu'il faut bien comprendre : sur la diagonale 16 pouces, la concurrence n'est pas aussi rude que sur d'autres segments comme le 13,3 ou le 14 pouces. C'est aussi un segment généralement plus onéreux, ce qui sous-entend des prix de départ plus élevés que la moyenne. Et dans cet ordre d'idée, le Dell Inspiron 16 Plus se place très bien comme un ordinateur 16 pouces en lequel on peut avoir confiance, pour une facture tout de même allégée. De bonnes performances sur un bon design, bien que faisant la concession du placement de sa connectique pour gérer sa chauffe merveilleusement bien, qui offrent par ailleurs une très bonne autonomie pour cette catégorie. Le seul sacrifice que nous avons du mal à concéder est la luminosité maximale de son écran, qui ne dépasse pas le seuil suffisant au confort de lecture en plein soleil. Sur cette diagonale et à ce placement tarifaire, c'est hélas trop souvent le cas. Le Dell Inspiron 16 Plus aurait pu vraiment sortir du lot grâce à cela, mais en l'état, il reste le sobre compagnon qui ne réclame pas d'éclater son budget pour avoir ce qu'il nous faut.

The Inspiron 16 Plus falls just short of being a laptop that I can comfortably recommend. It provides good performance for all but the most demanding creators, but it doesn’t offer a display option that meets their needs. It’s priced like a premium laptop, but it’s not built like one. You expect a metal chassis and lid to be more rigid in a laptop costing $1,500 or more. And the battery life was erratic. If you’re a productivity user who wants a really fast laptop, then it’s an option. But so are many other 16-inch machines. The HP Envy 16 is close in price with a similar configuration, but it feels like a more premium laptop. In the end, I’d say to pass on this one unless its price comes down considerably.

Ces cartes graphiques de milieu de gamme peuvent faire tourner tout les jeux récents de façon fluide. Les jeux gourmands ne peuvent être joués qu'avec les détails réglés sur moyen.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU:

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU:

Intel Arc 8-Core: Carte graphique intégrée basée sur l'architecture Xe LPG (similaire aux GPU Arc dédiés, mais axée sur l'efficacité). Fournit les 8 cœurs Xe (128 moteurs vectoriels Xe) et 8 unités de ray tracing.
Ces cartes graphiques devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux récents (avec quelques exceptions) en haute résolution avec un bon niveau de détail.
NVIDIA NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU:
Carte graphique haut de gamme pour ordinateurs portables basée sur l'architecture Ada Lovelace. Offre 8 GB GDDR6 (128 Bit) et est configurable avec un TGP de 35 - 115W (+ Dynamic Boost).

i7-11800H:
SoC octa-core haut de gamme basé sur Tiger Lake (série H45) pour les ordinateurs portables de jeu et les stations de travail. Les huit cœurs de l'unité centrale fonctionnent entre 2,3 GHz et 4,6 GHz. Le GPU graphique UHD intégré offre 32 UE jusqu'à 1,45 GHz. La puce est fabriquée sur le processus Intel SuperFin de 10 nm de deuxième génération.
Intel Alder Lake-P:
i7-1260P:
Un processeur de la famille Alder Lake de milieu de gamme supérieur comprenant 4 cœurs de performance et 8 cœurs efficaces. Ce SoC de 28 W est conçu pour être utilisé dans des ordinateurs portables ultra-légers. Les cœurs de performance du Core i7-1260P sont compatibles avec l'Hyper-Threading pour un total de 16 threads. Ce processeur de 12e génération fonctionne de 1,5 GHz à 4,7 GHz et prend en charge les fonctions vPro du niveau "Essentials". Enfin, le Core i7-1260P est doté d'un GPU Iris Xe 96 EU intégré, ce qui n'est pas sans rappeler certaines pièces de la 11e génération Tiger Lake-UP3.

Un processeur mobile basé sur Alder-Lake avec 6 cœurs de performance et 8 cœurs efficaces. Les cœurs de performance offrent un hyper threading, ce qui permet de traiter 20 threads. Le processeur fonctionne à des fréquences allant de 1,7 à 4,7 GHz et prend en charge vPro.
Intel Alder Lake-M:
i5-1235U:
Un processeur mobile basé sur Alder-Lake avec 2 cœurs de performance et 8 cœurs efficaces. Les cœurs de performance offrent un hyper threading, ce qui permet de traiter 12 threads. Le CPU tourne à des fréquences allant de 0,9 à 4,4 GHz. Le TDP est spécifié à 15 Watt.
AMD Cezanne (Zen 3, Ryzen 5000):
R7 5825U:
APU mobile octa-core avec des cœurs Zen 3 cadencés de 2 GHz à 4,5 GHz et un iGPU Vega avec 8 CU cadencés jusqu'à 2000 MHz.
R5 7530U:
APU mobile à six cœurs avec des cœurs Zen 3 cadencés entre 2 et 4,5 GHz et un adaptateur graphique Vega avec 7 CU cadencés jusqu'à 2 GHz.
Intel Raptor Lake-H:
i7-13700H: CPU mobile basé sur Alder Lake avec 6 cœurs de performance et 8 cœurs efficaces. Les cœurs de performance offrent l'hyper threading, ce qui permet de traiter 20 threads. L'horloge du processeur peut atteindre 5 GHz. Par rapport à l'i9-13900HK, il n'y a pas d'overclocking facile, mais un ensemble complet de fonctions de gestion vPro.
Intel Meteor Lake-H:
Ultra 7 155H: Une puce Meteor Lake haut de gamme qui a fait ses débuts en décembre 2023. Ce processeur Core Ultra de 1ère génération est venu remplacer les puces Core de 13ème génération ; il dispose de 16 cœurs (6 + 8 + 2) et de 22 threads. Ses cœurs Performance, au nombre de 6, tournent jusqu'à 4,8 GHz tandis que ses cœurs Efficient, au nombre de 10 (8 cœurs principaux plus 2 supplémentaires trouvés dans l'îlot basse consommation) tournent jusqu'à 3,8 GHz. Le NPU AI Boost intégré offre deux moteurs Gen 3 pour l'accélération matérielle des charges de travail d'IA. La consommation d'énergie "minimale assurée" de ce processeur pour ordinateur portable est de 28 W, tandis que sa consommation d'énergie Turbo est censée rester inférieure à 115 W.
