L'Oppo Find X9 Ultra est un produit phare haut de gamme Android fortement axé sur la photographie mobile. Il est bel et bien “ultra”. Le plus onéreux des représentants de la gamme Find X9 d'Oppo mérite son titre, tant il multiplie les atouts. Doté d'un bel écran — que l'on aurait toutefois aimé plus lumineux —, le Find X9 Ultra mise tout sur un bloc photo aussi performant que polyvalent. Ce n'est pas son seul atout, puisqu'il a également le mérite d'être particulièrement endurant. Il ne plaira pas aux amateurs de smartphones compacts, mais apportera pleine satisfaction à ceux que son gabarit de géant n'effraie pas. Le Find X9 Ultra se poste à tarif plus élevé que la majorité de ses concurrents, le Galaxy S26 Ultra en tête (dont le prix a baissé depuis sa sortie, en février 2026), mais aussi le Magic 8 Pro de Honor et le Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Il est moins abordable financièrement, mais aussi en matière de format, ce qui le classe en réalité hors catégorie. Alors que tous ses concurrents ont laissé tomber la course aux focales les plus folles, lui va chercher des photos de très bonne qualité du X0,6 jusqu'au X20. Un terrain de jeu qui ne laissera pas indifférent quiconque s'intéresse à la photo, et contre lequel personne ne peut lutter en l'état sur le marché français. Tout cela a un coût : 1700 euros (arrondi) tout de même. Un tarif élevé qui s'explique non seulement par la dénomination Ultra, mais aussi par une configuration de base un peu élevée, avec 512 Go de stockage. Pour comparaison, le S26 Ultra de Samsung avec la même capacité, monte à 1669 euros.Pour ce tarif, Oppo n'a pas lésiné et a encore accru la qualité qu'on lui connaissait déjà dans son Find X9 Pro. En plus du bloc photo exceptionnel, il délivre un meilleur écran encore, une autonomie de compétition (la 3e meilleure mesurée par notre labo) et des performances globalement de haut vol (avec un très léger bémol sur la partie graphique).En parlant de bémol, il y a en a forcément sur un béhémot comme celui-ci, le poids nous a tout de même un peu gênés à une époque où tout le monde rivalise de légèreté et de finesse. De même, le suivi logiciel, bloqué à 5 ans de mises à jour majeures, fait un peu tache en 2026, contre les 7 ans proposés par les cadors. Oppo Find X9 Ultra review: the closest phone yet to a real camera in your pocket

For me, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is hands down the best camera phone I’ve used yet. Does a phone need four cameras? It depends on who you ask, but now that I have spent a few weeks with the phone, my resounding answer is yes. The 3x camera is phenomenal, the 10x camera zoom range is incredibly useful, and the quality far exceeds any digital zoom. Hasselblad Master mode is also a standout; it finally gives me exactly the kind of less-processed, more camera-like images with custom film recipes I've been wanting from a flagship phone. Add in superb video, excellent battery life, a gorgeous screen, and a design in Tundra Umber that I absolutely love, and Oppo has made my perfect camera phone. It is not completely flawless. Standard mode can still look too processed for my taste, the teleconverter integration is more limited than it should be, and there are still some minor settings tweaks I'd love to see. But if your priority is having the most capable, most versatile, most photography-focused phone possible, the Find X9 Ultra is exceptionally hard to argue against.

EN→FRFor me, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is hands down the best camera phone I’ve used yet. Does a phone need four cameras? It depends on who you ask, but now that I have spent a few weeks with the phone, my resounding answer is yes. The 3x camera is phenomenal, the 10x camera zoom range is incredibly useful, and the quality far exceeds any digital zoom. Hasselblad Master mode is also a standout; it finally gives me exactly the kind of less-processed, more camera-like images with custom film recipes I've been wanting from a flagship phone. Add in superb video, excellent battery life, a gorgeous screen, and a design in Tundra Umber that I absolutely love, and Oppo has made my perfect camera phone. It is not completely flawless. Standard mode can still look too processed for my taste, the teleconverter integration is more limited than it should be, and there are still some minor settings tweaks I'd love to see. But if your priority is having the most capable, most versatile, most photography-focused phone possible, the Find X9 Ultra is exceptionally hard to argue against.

It’s an excellent handset everywhere else, with flagship performance, an impressively long-lasting battery, slick software and a gorgeous display – but the Find X9 Ultra’s biggest strength is how it sets the pace for photography-first phones. Oppo has delivered year-on-year improvements for every sensor and the firm is now comfortably the class leader for long-range zoom. Colours are authentic and detail is nuanced in ways few rivals can match. That said, Vivo and Xiaomi have also brought their A game this generation. Mobile movie makers might feel better served by the X300 Ultra (if it’s available in their territory), while Xiaomi’s Leitzphone commits harder to the camera brand tie-in through Leica-badged theme and widgets – though you pay even more for it. All three take superb stills; the winner in any given shooting scenario often falls to personal preference on colour treatment. They also highlight how much ground Google, Samsung and Apple have lost by prioritising algorithmic image processing over cutting-edge sensor hardware. I’d still spring for the Oppo, though. Only serious snappers will be able to justify the high cost of entry, but that 10x zoom is just so versatile.

EN→FRIt’s an excellent handset everywhere else, with flagship performance, an impressively long-lasting battery, slick software and a gorgeous display – but the Find X9 Ultra’s biggest strength is how it sets the pace for photography-first phones. Oppo has delivered year-on-year improvements for every sensor and the firm is now comfortably the class leader for long-range zoom. Colours are authentic and detail is nuanced in ways few rivals can match. That said, Vivo and Xiaomi have also brought their A game this generation. Mobile movie makers might feel better served by the X300 Ultra (if it’s available in their territory), while Xiaomi’s Leitzphone commits harder to the camera brand tie-in through Leica-badged theme and widgets – though you pay even more for it. All three take superb stills; the winner in any given shooting scenario often falls to personal preference on colour treatment. They also highlight how much ground Google, Samsung and Apple have lost by prioritising algorithmic image processing over cutting-edge sensor hardware. I’d still spring for the Oppo, though. Only serious snappers will be able to justify the high cost of entry, but that 10x zoom is just so versatile.

It's quite large, owing to the camera setup and display, though, which is another factor to keep in mind – as is the inevitable high price. Overall, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra delivers exactly what it sets out to: an ultimate camera experience. It won't be for everyone, but for photographers who just can't get the zoom quality they want from Samsung, Google, et al, the Oppo is where it's at.

In isolation, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is an excellent piece of tech, albeit pricier than other Ultras. It's not just a great cameraphone, it's a great all-rounder, too. It has an extra-long battery life, fast charging, a great display, although the full 144Hz is rarely utilized, and offers a nice, customizable software experience, which will get about five major upgrades in the future. However, if video quality is on top of your priority list, that may not be the Find X9 Ultra's forte. Videos are soft-ish across the board, or at least they are not on an "ultra" level. It's too early to say whether it's the best camera-centric phone in the first half of the year, but it's definitely up there with the best, and honestly, that should be enough. Still, we suggest waiting for all Ultras to hit the market before digging deep into your pockets. But among the big three cameraphones, the gaps are so small that it will probably boil down to preferences regarding design, software, your favorite focal lengths and features more than anything else.

The biggest difference between this almighty mobile and the Pro model appears to be the camera hardware. Not too surprising given the size of that bump. Qualcomm Adreno 840: Unité graphique intégrée dans le SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 pour smartphones avec trois tranches à 1,2 GHz chacune. Selon Qualcomm, elle est 23 % plus rapide que celle de la génération précédente (Adreno 830).
Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.
