Qualcomm X2E-78-100

Le Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E-78-100 est la variante la plus lente des SoC pour ordinateurs portables X2 qui seront lancés en septembre 2025. Il offre 12 des 18 cœurs du processeur répartis en 6 cœurs principaux pouvant atteindre 4 GHz (4 GHz pour tous les cœurs) et 6 cœurs de performance pouvant atteindre 3,4 GHz. L'ensemble de la partie CPU dispose de 34 Mo de mémoire cache.

Le SoC intègre également un GPU Weaker X2-85 cadencé à 1,35 GHz, une NPU avec jusqu'à 80 TOPS (INT8), un contrôleur de mémoire LPDDR5x-9523 avec 128 bits et une bande passante de 152 Go/s et l'ISP Spectra pour des caméras doubles jusqu'à 36 MP. Les supports de stockage peuvent être connectés via NVMe, PCIe 5.0, UFS 4.0, SD Express et SD 3.0. La puce prend également en charge 3x les ports USB 4.0.

Les performances du processeur devraient être bien inférieures à celles des modèles plus puissants tels que le X2E-96-100, le X2E-96-100 et le X2E-96-100 Modèle supérieur X2E-96-100 (18 cœurs jusqu'à 5 GHz) ou le modèle X2E-88-100 (18 cœurs jusqu'à 4,7 GHz). Nous estimons que les performances seront légèrement supérieures à celles de l'ancien modèle Snapdragon X Elite X1E-84-100 (également 12 cœurs, jusqu'à 4,2 GHz).

Le SoC est produit avec un mélange de N3X et N3P (via ComputerBase) chez TSMC (3nm).
