Le Lenovo ThinkCentre M90n Nano IoT est un appareil intéressant. Il est sans doute conçu pour le grand public. Ceux qui seraient intéressés par un mini PC Lenovo pour la maison ou le travail devraient jeter un œil au modèle non IoT, le ThinkCentre M90n Nano. Les clients potentiels peuvent également jeter un œil aux différents NUC proposés par Intel.

La version IoT vise plutôt les grandes entreprises où le silence, la compacité et la faible consommation sont de mise. Dans ce cas, le Nano IoT sera efficace. L’appareil est petit, consomme peu, et possède de nombreux ports utiles dans les entreprises, tout en étant complètement silencieux.

Comme son nom l’indique, le Nano IoT sera le mieux utilisé comme un appareil "Internet of Things" (Internet des objets). En utilisation normale, le Nano IoT chauffe à tout va, si bien que le thermal throttling réduit ses performances.

Dans des cas spécifiques, où un appareil est nécessaire pour de courts calculs (comme un point de vente ou en tant que partie de baie de stockage), le Nano IoT est à sa place. Autrement, il ne vaut pas son prix plutôt élevé - les utilisateurs devraient vraiment regarder ailleurs.
