Le temps de réponse d'un écran mesure la rapidité à laquelle l'écran est capable de changer une couleur pour une autre. Un temps de réponse élevé se traduit par une image floutée pour les objets en mouvement. Les joueurs bénéficieront de faibles latences d'affichage en jeu.

Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion)

Afin d'abaisser la luminosité de l'écran, certains ordinateurs portables font varier très rapidement le rétroéclairage entre éteint et allumé. La fréquence à laquelle le rétroéclairage s'éteint et se rallume est normalement fixée à une valeur qui permet de rendre la variation indétectable à l'œil nu? Mis à part la qualité sonore et l’absence de port Thunderbolt 3, le XMS Neo 17 de Schenker Technologies ne possède pas de véritable faiblesse.

Son châssis Tongfang Barebone GK7CP0S est étonnamment rigide et de très haute qualité, tout comme son écran 144 Hz bien contrasté et réactif. Son autre point fort est bien sûr son clavier mécanique avec rétroéclairage RVB.

Le fabricant a également bien fait les choses en ce qui concerne les performances. En fonction du mode (choisi dans le Control Center), l’appareil de 17 pouces peut viser soit les performances, soit un niveau sonore modéré. La configuration testée, avec un Core i7-9750H, une GeForce RTX 2060 et 16 Go de RAM peut gérer aisément presque n’importe quel logiciel.
