Le Xiaomi 15T Pro réalise à nos yeux un excellent parcours et ce smartphone, vendu moins de 1000 €, n’a au final vraiment rien ou presque à envier à des modèles vendus plusieurs centaines d’euros de plus. Il dispose d’une mécanique véloce, d’un écran très réussi et d’un trio de caméras d’excellente facture. Nous aurions simplement apprécié un ultra grand-angle un peu mieux armé, notamment de nuit, et doté d’un autofocus. Pour le reste, c’est une franche réussite.

En résumé, le Xiaomi 15T Pro s’impose comme une référence incontournable du moment pour qui souhaite profiter du format premium sans se ruiner. Son écran AMOLED LTPO de très haut niveau, sa puissance brute, son interface logicielle fluide et personnalisable et sa polyvalence photo en font un choix solidement positionné, à la hauteur – voire supérieur – à bien des concurrents du moment. La surcouche HyperOS 2 allie simplicité et richesse fonctionnelle, et la politique de mises à jour est enfin à la hauteur du standard Android. Reste que tout n’est pas parfait : l’ultra grand-angle stagne, l’audio stéréo manque finalement d’assise face aux pros du multimédia, et l’absence de port jack en frustrera une minorité.

Sous ses airs de smartphone un peu sage se cache un modèle haut de gamme qui tient la dragée haute à nombre de ses concurrents. Écran surcadencé ultra lumineux, autonomie redoutable, puce hyper performante… le Xiaomi 15T Pro a tout pour lui, et joue une partition photo de haute volée. Grâce à son nouveau téléobjectif 5x, il rivalise avec les ténors du marché. Si l’approche photo est parfois inégale avec le réglages par défaut – la faute à un traitement excessif –, cela n’enlève rien aux qualités intrinséques d’une configuration photo musclée et d’une grande polyvalence. Reste l’épineuse question du positionnement. Vendu 900€, soit 100€ de plus que son prédécesseur, le Xiaomi 15T Pro est un deal discutable… surtout dans un monde où le Xiaomi 15 Ultra se trouve désormais dans les mêmes eaux. Mais, comme souvent avec Xiaomi, la valeur du 15T Pro augmentera proportionnellement à la baisse de son prix au gré des promotions de fin d’année. Un excellent smartphone, qu’on préférera s’offrir quand il coutera 100 ou 150€ de moins.

S’il y a bien un smartphone Xiaomi que l’on peut vous recommander les yeux fermés en 2025, c’est le Xiaomi 15T Pro. Entre ses performances convaincantes, son capteur principal de haute volée, son superbe écran et son autonomie remarquable, il se positionne comme un sérieux challenger du Galaxy S25, du Google Pixel 10 et même de l’iPhone 17.Certes, quelques petites failles (ultra grand-angle, audio, protection d’écran) viennent nuancer ce tableau, mais la perfection en matière de smartphone reste utopique. Le véritable tournant se jouera sans doute avec l’arrivée d’HyperOS 3 en novembre. Attendu avec de nombreuses promesses, ce nouvel écosystème devra être jugé sur pièces. Enfin, grâce à un prix pensé avec soin et aux promotions régulières de Xiaomi, le 15T Pro s’impose comme un rapport qualité-prix difficile à battre.

Le Xiaomi 15T Pro brille par son autonomie exceptionnelle et une fiche technique qui opère les concessions au bon endroit. S'il est difficile de le recommander à son prix de lancement, celui-ci lui permet de louvoyer, via des promos, via son offre de lancement, et tout au long de sa durée de vie, vers un devenir très intéressant. Une belle porte d'entrée pour l'expérience premium du smartphone sans casser sa tirelire. Si vous le considérez, n'oubliez pas qu'il ne bénéficiera que cinq de mises à jour Android et six ans de patch de sécurité (contre 7 pour ses concurrents) et qu'il est loin d'être le meilleur dans de nombreuses catégories : performances, photo, interface. Mais il opère les bons choix et assure un bon équilibre. Le gros problème pour le 15T Pro est l'état du marché très mature, où il doit frayer avec des poids lourds : Pixel 10, Galaxy S25 ou même iPhone 17.

Le Xiaomi 15T Pro ne souffre de quasiment aucun défaut. Du coup, il n'a pas grand-chose à envier aux smartphones vendus plus de 1000 €. En effet, son équipement très complet lui assure une très grande polyvalence : haut niveau de performances (pour faire fonctionner les jeux dans d'excellentes conditions); grand écran lumineux et pouvant fonctionner en 144 Hz; grande autonomie et charge rapide (avec ou sans fil); et - cerise sur le gâteau - des aptitudes photos / vidéos de haute volée, avec en particulier son téléobjectif 5x Leica stabilisé. Si on ajoute à tout cela un environnement logiciel complet et pérenne, on obtient un smartphone qui va assurément marquer cette fin d'année.

After spending over a week with my SIM in the Xiaomi 15T Pro, there’s very little to dislike. It features a premium design with eye-catching yet subtle colour options, a massive 6.82-inch AMOLED screen with ultra-slim bezels, a very capable camera system for both photo and video, and the performance of the Dimensity 9400+ leaves very little to be desired. Is it a truly flagship experience? No. It misses out on more premium screen protection, the ultrawide lens is pretty basic for the price, the lack of LTPO screen tech is more noticeable here than elsewhere, and HyperOS is an acquired taste – but for most people, these are sacrifices easily made to get a phone of this calibre. One thing is for sure; it certainly doesn’t look, feel or perform like your regular run-of-the-mill £649 smartphone. In fact, it could very well be one of the best mid-range phones around right now.

Given that this device uses the previous model MediaTek chip and that its performance doesn’t blow me away, I would probably splurge on a OnePlus flagship or even the Xiaomi 15 base device. Switching to a proper flagship device may cost anywhere from $100-$200 more, but you will get a pile of bonuses, which could include more storage, a more reliable camera, a better selfie camera, and, in the OnePlus 13’s case, a better battery, too. If that price difference is monumental to your budget, you won’t be let down with the Xiaomi 15T Pro; however, if you can afford it, there are better options available.

Don't get us wrong, the phone shines (literally) in more than one department—the screen is one of the brightest out there, the battery life is second to none, and the camera system is quite flexible as well. The trouble is at this price point, those things are expected and not that surprising.

Often answering this question is easy, but also at the same time quite difficult. The easy answer is ‘anyone who wants great value for money’, but picking out specifically who should buy certain mid-range phones is hard because they are often so similar.But the Xiaomi 15T Pro has a clear marker. If you want what is possibly the best overall camera package on a smartphone for less than £700, then this is categorically the phone for you. Honestly, I don’t think you’ll find better photos at 5x zoom at this price point. Add onto that the fact that the display is spectacular and the build quality feels almost exactly like the iPhone 17 Pro series, then it’s hard to argue that this phone doesn’t sit somewhere near the top of the mid-range pile. And as I said above, it plunges the iPhone 16e into even further depths of embarrassment. For £50 more, you get a far more feature-rich experience and cameras that blow it out of the water. The 15T Pro can stand up against a 'true' flagship. As a smartphone, it does lag behind in the camera software and processing department, but given the price, I think this can be excused. It won't beat even the base model Google Pixels for stills photography from the main camera, not much can for image quality and dynamic range, but it's a point worth making still. Hopefully, Xiaomi is listening and continues to evolve its software processing and camera application across its family of handsets, as they all exhibit the same flaws I have talked about in all of my Xiaomi/POCO/Redmi coverage to date. The main thing to look at here is that this phone comes in at nearly half the cost of an equivalent Galaxy S flagship, which also includes the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL, which reaches an eye-watering £1500 for the 1TB model.

Overall, the new phone feels premium and attractive, especially the Mocha Gold version that I tested. If you're coming from a flagship device, you won't miss much with the Xiaomi 15T Pro. Its Leica-branded cameras are good. Performance is also good enough — it can rival the Pixel 10 Pro phones — and battery life is much improved over last year's version. Best of all, it starts at S$799 (12GB + 256GB), which, despite a slight price hike, is still competitive against the other near-flagship phones hovering below the S$1,000 mark.

ARM Immortalis-G925 MC12: Il s'agit d'un GPU intégré rapide pour les processeurs ARM, doté de fonctions matérielles de ray tracing, de précision et de super résolution, ainsi que d'autres technologies modernes. Il est prévu qu'il soit presque aussi rapide que le Qualcomm Adreno 830.

Ces cartes devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux d'aujourd'hui, mais la plupart d'entre eux uniquement en détails moyens ou faibles et avec des résolution basses. Les plus vieux jeux ou les jeux moins gourmands restent jouables avec de beaux graphismes.

Dimensity 9400+: Un SoC octa-core haut de gamme pour les tablettes et les smartphones Android qui a été lancé le 10 avril 2025. En tant que tel, il serait doté d'un cœur Cortex-X925 superpuissant (jusqu'à 3,73 GHz), de trois cœurs Cortex-X4 (jusqu'à 3,3 GHz) et de quatre cœurs Cortex-A720 efficaces (jusqu'à 2,4 GHz), ainsi que du NPU 890 dédié et de l'iGPU Immortalis-G925 MC12. L'ancien Dimensity 9400 dispose des mêmes composants clés, leur vitesse d'horloge plus faible étant le facteur de différenciation.
