Le retour de Xiaomi sur le marché des tablettes tactiles est réussi, surtout au segment d'entrée de gamme de plus en plus concurrentiel, encore plus à moins de 300 euros. Le constructeur ne commet aucune grosse faute qui nous empêche de vous la recommander. Le design est vraiment soigné avec une coque unie et des bordures correctes. Deux points noirs sont cependant à retenir. Le premier : l'interface MIUI 13 qui manque d'intuitivité (notamment en comparaison avec ce que fait la concurrence). Le second : les performances qui peuvent manquer, essentiellement pour le jeu vidéo. Mais l'autonomie est réellement au rendez-vous et permet d'utiliser la Redmi Pad au quotidien sans avoir à la recharger trop souvent. Elle est couplée à un écran correct et qui offre un taux de rafraîchissement de 90 Hz. Cela en fait une tablette parfaite pour la lecture de la presse et de contenus vidéos.

Mais, en main et en utilisation quotidienne, la tablette qui fonctionne sous Android 13 ressemble à un véritable appareil haut de gamme. Avec sa coque unibody en aluminium, la Redmi Pad SE est robuste, mais très bien finie au toucher, même si elle n'est pas certifiée IP. L'écran est tout à fait correct et les quatre haut-parleurs soufflent des ondes sonores autour de vos oreilles. Le SoC intégré est plutôt de classe moyenne, du moins sur le plan graphique. Ce qui signifie que vous ne pourrez pas jouer aux jeux les plus lourds comme PUPG ou Fortnite. Seuls les vieux jeux peuvent tourner de façon fluide sur ces ordinateurs (S'ils ne sont pas trop gourmands en ressources). Les coeurs à mémoire partagée de cette catégorie ont l'avantage d'être moins chaud et moins gourmand en énergie. Pour le bureau, internet, l'édition de photos, et le montage vidéo ces cartes graphiques n'ont aucune restrictions.
