Courte critique du smarpthone TP-Link Neffos C9

Un grand smartphone à petit prix. TP6-Link a élargi sa série C à bas prix avec le Neffos C9, un appareil équipé d’un écran de 5,99 pouces et d’un SoC MediaTek. Il ne faut pas s’attendre à un miracle concernant les performances ou la photographie, l’appareil étant destiné à ceux qui voudraient un grand smartphone sans fioritures. Lisez ce rapport de test pour voir comment le Neffos C9 se comporte, et s’il peut se mesurer à ses contemporains.

Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion)

Afin d'abaisser la luminosité de l'écran, certains ordinateurs portables font varier très rapidement le rétroéclairage entre éteint et allumé. La fréquence à laquelle le rétroéclairage s'éteint et se rallume est normalement fixée à une valeur qui permet de rendre la variation indétectable à l'œil nu? Si la fréquence est trop basse, certaines personnes peuvent être sujettes à une fatigue oculaire, des maux de tête ou même percevoir les variations.
Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion) décelé 100 Hz ≤ 20 Niveau de luminosité

Le rétroéclairage de l'écran scintille à la fréquence de 100 Hz (certainement du fait de l'utilisation d'une MDI - Modulation de largeur d'impulsion) à un niveau de luminosité inférieur ou égal à 20 % . Aucun scintillement ne devrait être perceptible au-dessus de cette valeur.

La fréquence de rafraîchissement de 100 Hz est extrêmement faible, de grands risques de fatigue oculaire accrue et de maux de tête en cas d'utilisation prolongée.

En comparaison, 51 % des appareils testés n'emploient pas MDI pour assombrir leur écran. Nous avons relevé une moyenne à 9425 (minimum : 43 - maximum : 142900) Hz dans le cas où une MDI était active.

Temps de réponse de l'écran

Le temps de réponse d'un écran mesure la rapidité à laquelle l'écran est capable de changer une couleur pour une autre. Un temps de réponse élevé se traduit par une image floutée pour les objets en mouvement. Les joueurs bénéficieront de faibles latences d'affichage en jeu.

Le TP-Link Neffos C9 est un smartphone à bas prix étrange. Son grand écran et ses composants datés suffisent pour les applis du quotidien, telles celles des réseaux sociaux, ou la navigation web. Cependant, notre modèle paraît souvent plus lent que ses concurrents, et ne se démarque pas avec une autonomie plutôt courte.

Le TP-Link Neffos C9 plaira à ceux qui recherchent un smartphone à bas prix avec un grand écran. Il faudra cependant composer avec des performances léthargiques et une autonomie réduite.

La possibilité d’avoir deux cartes SIM et une carte micro SD simultanément n’est pas coutume parmi les appareils à bas prix, mais c’est un point positif mineur. En bref, le Neffos C9 ne se distingue pas vraiment des autres smartphones à bas prix. Le smartphone ne fait pas très bien les choses, et s’avère même souvent frustrant.
