La nouveauté n'est pas toujours meilleure. Schenker entre dans un nouveau round avec le Slim 15, et intègre maintenant la dernière architecture Intel Comet et des fonctionnalités intéressantes. Un module WLAN rapide et un clavier rétroéclairé coloré complètent notre configuration. Mais le nouveau et puissant processeur n’exploite pas tout son potentiel.

Le temps de réponse d'un écran mesure la rapidité à laquelle l'écran est capable de changer une couleur pour une autre. Un temps de réponse élevé se traduit par une image floutée pour les objets en mouvement. Les joueurs bénéficieront de faibles latences d'affichage en jeu.

Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion)

Afin d'abaisser la luminosité de l'écran, certains ordinateurs portables font varier très rapidement le rétroéclairage entre éteint et allumé. La fréquence à laquelle le rétroéclairage s'éteint et se rallume est normalement fixée à une valeur qui permet de rendre la variation indétectable à l'œil nu? Si la fréquence est trop basse, certaines personnes peuvent être sujettes à une fatigue oculaire, des maux de tête ou même percevoir les variations.
Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion) décelé 250 Hz ≤ 80 Niveau de luminosité

Le rétroéclairage de l'écran scintille à la fréquence de 250 Hz (certainement du fait de l'utilisation d'une MDI - Modulation de largeur d'impulsion) à un niveau de luminosité inférieur ou égal à 80 % . Aucun scintillement ne devrait être perceptible au-dessus de cette valeur.

La fréquence de rafraîchissement de 250 Hz est relativement faible, les personnes les plus sensibles devraient percevoir un scintillement et être sujettes à une fatigue oculaire accrue (avec le niveau de luminosité indiqué)

En comparaison, 51 % des appareils testés n'emploient pas MDI pour assombrir leur écran. Nous avons relevé une moyenne à 13573 (minimum : 43 - maximum : 2500000) Hz dans le cas où une MDI était active.

Fin, élégant, puissant. Ces trois mots résument le Slim 15. L’extérieur combine à nouveau plastique et aluminium. La qualité de construction est satisfaisante. Les nouveautés de notre configuration sont le rétroéclairage coloré, le lecteur d’empreintes digitales et le module WLAN rapide, qui en pratique dépasse allégrement le gigabyte par seconde.

Nous avons déjà testé les périphériques d’entrée et l’écran dans la Red-Edition, et il n’y a pas vraiment de différences. Seul l’écran de notre version possède une fréquence MLI faible. Le principal élément de notre appareil est le tout nouvel Intel Core i5-10210U. Le quadricœur économe ne peut démontrer ses capacités à cause d’un ratio chauffe / fréquence très strict. Mais notre machine ne chauffe jamais trop. L’autonomie est également plutôt médiocre, l’appareil ne tenant qu’environ 6h.

Le Schenker Slim 15 est une machine puissante et fiable adaptée au travail de bureau.

Ce n’est pas tout : l’appareil possède également une bonne connectivité, un écran mat IPS, et un SSD PCIe extrêmement rapide, soudé.

Dans notre configuration, le Slim 15 est disponible dans la boutique de Schenker pour environ 1 090 €.
