MacBook, made in China. Le dernier portable de Chuwi est le fruit d’une campagne IndieGoGo réussie. Alors que l’ensemble a belle allure, l’AeroBook est en fait à la traîne face aux autres portables compacts, largement à cause de son processeur Core m3 de 6e génération largement daté.

Le temps de réponse d'un écran mesure la rapidité à laquelle l'écran est capable de changer une couleur pour une autre. Un temps de réponse élevé se traduit par une image floutée pour les objets en mouvement. Les joueurs bénéficieront de faibles latences d'affichage en jeu.

Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion)

Afin d'abaisser la luminosité de l'écran, certains ordinateurs portables font varier très rapidement le rétroéclairage entre éteint et allumé. La fréquence à laquelle le rétroéclairage s'éteint et se rallume est normalement fixée à une valeur qui permet de rendre la variation indétectable à l'œil nu? Si la fréquence est trop basse, certaines personnes peuvent être sujettes à une fatigue oculaire, des maux de tête ou même percevoir les variations.
Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion) décelé 2000 Hz ≤ 99 Niveau de luminosité

Le rétroéclairage de l'écran scintille à la fréquence de 2000 Hz (certainement du fait de l'utilisation d'une MDI - Modulation de largeur d'impulsion) à un niveau de luminosité inférieur ou égal à 99 % . Aucun scintillement ne devrait être perceptible au-dessus de cette valeur.

La fréquence de rafraîchissement de 2000 Hz est élevée, la grande majorité des utilisateurs ne devrait pas percevoir de scintillements et être sujette à une fatigue oculaire accrue.

En comparaison, 51 % des appareils testés n'emploient pas MDI pour assombrir leur écran. Nous avons relevé une moyenne à 9428 (minimum : 43 - maximum : 142900) Hz dans le cas où une MDI était active.

L’AeroBook de Chuwi est un clone honnête du MacBook de 12 pouces d’Apple. Le portable chinois est réussi à différents niveaux ; son design est excellent, tout comme sa qualité de construction, et le clavier et le trackpad sont très bons, au vu du prix de 500 $.

Malheureusement, tout comme le MacBook 12, l’AeroBook échoue à impressionner en ce qui concerne la puissance. Et l’appareil Chuwi ne peut compter sur des optimisations logicielles comme peut le faire le MacBook. Alors que le portable compact d’Apple peut gérer le visionnage 4K et des tâches de bureautique raisonnablement exigeantes grâce aux optimisations de MacOS, l’AeroBook est en retrait et relégué à une même utilisation que les Chromebook ou que les autres portables Windows bon marché.

Dans l’ensemble, le Chuwi Aerobook est un portable élégant fait pour une utilisation peu exigeante, le traitement de texte et le travail bureautique basique. N’importe quelle tâche plus lourde fera attendre l’utilisateur.
