Maintenant, avec le Mate Xs, Huawei affirme avoir réglé tous les problèmes du smartphone pliable, et même réglé ses problèmes matériels. Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion)

Afin d'abaisser la luminosité de l'écran, certains ordinateurs portables font varier très rapidement le rétroéclairage entre éteint et allumé. La fréquence à laquelle le rétroéclairage s'éteint et se rallume est normalement fixée à une valeur qui permet de rendre la variation indétectable à l'œil nu? Si la fréquence est trop basse, certaines personnes peuvent être sujettes à une fatigue oculaire, des maux de tête ou même percevoir les variations.
Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion) décelé 242.7 Hz ≤ 99 Niveau de luminosité

Le rétroéclairage de l'écran scintille à la fréquence de 242.7 Hz (certainement du fait de l'utilisation d'une MDI - Modulation de largeur d'impulsion) à un niveau de luminosité inférieur ou égal à 99 % . Aucun scintillement ne devrait être perceptible au-dessus de cette valeur.

La fréquence de rafraîchissement de 242.7 Hz est relativement faible, les personnes les plus sensibles devraient percevoir un scintillement et être sujettes à une fatigue oculaire accrue (avec le niveau de luminosité indiqué)

En comparaison, 51 % des appareils testés n'emploient pas MDI pour assombrir leur écran. Nous avons relevé une moyenne à 17699 (minimum : 5 - maximum : 2500000) Hz dans le cas où une MDI était active.

Temps de réponse de l'écran

Le temps de réponse d'un écran mesure la rapidité à laquelle l'écran est capable de changer une couleur pour une autre. Un temps de réponse élevé se traduit par une image floutée pour les objets en mouvement. Les joueurs bénéficieront de faibles latences d'affichage en jeu.

Le Huawei Mate Xs est un bon smartphone pliable qui, avec son écran à l'extérieur, a pris une approche différente que le Galaxy Fold. De ce fait, l'écran et sa protection sont plus sollicités que chez le concurrent Samsung. Cependant, ce n'est pas un gros problème, grâce aux garanties - à condition qu'il y ait un service après-vente près de chez vous.

Techniquement, le Mate Xs possède beaucoup de fonctionnalités haut de gammes. Mis à part la puce 5G, on retrouve également un appareil photo et un et un stockage rapide. Et malgré son énorme capacité, celui-ci peut être augmenté - mais nécessairement avec un carte mémoire Nano de Huawei.

Alors que le Huawei Mate Xs est un smartphone pliable séduisant, il ne semble pas mature dans tous les domaines.

Pour environ 2 000 €, le Huawei Mate Xs est loin d'être une affaire. A ce prix, on s'attend au meilleur, ce que fait Huawei dans de nombreux domaines, et à des accessoires nombreux. Si nous espérions mieux en ce qui concerne la luminosité, cette limitation n'est pas étonnante vu la consommation élevée de l'appareil - voici un compromis nécessaire pour atteindre une autonomie acceptable.

Nous devons également critiquer le constructeur pour la qualité de construction du smartphone. La charnière craque assez fortement, et donne une impression moins robuste que prévu. Et l'arrière de la coque est également trop flexible à certains endroits.

Il y a également des limitations à cause de la guerre économique en cours avec les Etats-Unis, avec par exemple l'absence des services Google. EMUI 10.0 ne semble pas être vraiment prêt pour la situation. Surtout en jeu, la partie logicielle n'est pas très fluide, si bien que nous espérons une mise à jour rapide à la version 10.1.

Le Huawei Mate Xs n'est en aucun cas un appareil pour tout le monde. Le prix élevé suffira à en détourner plus d'un... Cela dit, il repose sur un concept intéressant, ici combiné à des composants puissants, qui en font un smartphone unique qui attirera sans aucun doute l'attention.
