L’Amazon Fire 7 (2019) Kids Edition est équipée des mêmes composants que la Fire 7 (2019) classique. Mais pour qu’elle puisse résister aux enfants, Amazon a installé une énorme coque censée la protéger des chutes et des chocs tout au long de sa vie. À moins que la tablette ne tombe écran en avant sur un objet assez pointu, elle devrait supporter d’être maltraitée par des enfants. Et si ce n’est pas le cas, Amazon la remplacera, sans une question, grâce à la garantie complète de deux ans.

La Fire 7 (2019) Kids Edition donne aux parents un contrôle total des applications que leurs enfants peuvent utiliser. Néanmoins, ce service et ses applis FreeTime Unlimited associées ajouteront des frais d’abonnement après la première année.

Sans aucun doute, c’est la fonctionnalité FreeTime Unlimited qui plaira le plus aux parents. L’appli leur donne un contrôle total de ce que les enfants peuvent faire ou non avec la tablette, et peut être utilisée sur n’importe quel appareil Kindle. Amazon propose non seulement des sélections d’applis préconfigurées pour différentes tranches d’âge, mais propose également des conseils et de l’aide quand on explique ces applis aux enfants. L’Amazon Fire 7 (2019) Kids Edition est ainsi une tablette idéale pour ceux qui recherchent une tablette d’entrée de gamme abordable et robuste pour les enfants, avec une fidélisation de la clientèle sans coût supplémentaire.
