Razer livre toujours des PC monstrueux et qui font dans la démesure, qui sombrent dans la démesure, pourrait-on même dire. Au point qu’on a l’impression que le Blade 15, en l’occurrence, court après la meilleure fiche technique sans prendre en compte certaines réalités – financières, pour commencer. À n’en pas douter, on a là affaire à une machine dont on pourrait facilement faire son ordinaire tant elle est extraordinaire. Si les performances sont au rendez-vous et dans le haut du panier, il nous semble que Razer aurait pu obtenir des résultats aussi impressionnants pour une facture moins chargée, quitte à faire quelques compromis. Dès lors, ce Blade 15 2022 paraît destiné à ceux qui veulent jouer en 4K, sans se poser de question, et sans se soucier du meilleur rapport qualité-performance-prix.

If you want to purchase a Razer Blade 15, you should know up-front that it’s expensive, it runs hot and it doesn’t have a great keyboard. If those aren’t dealbreakers, however, the machine garners a solid recommendation. The compact and stylish design goes a long way, as does the good gaming performance. Tom’s Guide is currently in the process of reviewing comparable machines from Acer and Alienware, and it may be worth holding out to see how they stack up. Otherwise, though, the Blade 15 has been one of the most consistent gaming laptops on the market for years, and its 2022 variant continues that trend.

The settings within Synapse 3 give us a clear picture of the compromises faced by Razer. In Balanced mode the laptop is lovely and quiet, however the CPU is limited to 35W PL1 and the graphics to 95W which effectively cripples the expensive hardware. In Custom High mode the CPU operates at its 45W TDP and the graphics have 105W to work with. Push things to the limit with Custom Boost mode and the CPU runs on 65W, the maximum graphics power is 105W and the cooling fans are howling away and making a fair racket. Contrast that with the larger MSI GE76 Raider which can feed 72W to the CPU (the PL1 limit is 110W) and 165W to the graphics and you can see exactly why the Razer Blade 15 is crushed by the MSI Raider GE76 in our charts.

While the Blade 15 isn't quite as sleek or portable as the latest breed of 14-inch gaming machines, there's something to be said for having a big, luxury alternative. Sure, it's really expensive, and its 15.6-inch screen and 4.4-pound body mean you might not be able to throw it in your typical messenger bag. But it's got top-notch components, a strong frame that exhibits basically zero flex, and impressive performance in a slick and (comparatively) subdued design. Well, aside from that big glowing logo. In a way, the Blade 15 is a fantastic take on a modern desktop replacement, especially for people like me who don't want to lug around a giant 17-inch rig. Unlike the ROG Flow Z13, you don't need to worry about a separate graphics dock to get peak framerates. And thanks to a wealth of ports, you can leave all of your dongles and adapters at home. So while the Blade 15 doesn't make sense for anyone on a budget, if you've got the funds, this thing is a real treat.

Ces cartes graphiques de milieu de gamme peuvent faire tourner tout les jeux récents de façon fluide. Les jeux gourmands ne peuvent être joués qu'avec les détails réglés sur moyen.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Max-Q:

Carte graphique haut de gamme efficiente, pour les portables fins et légers basée sur la même puce GP104 que la GTX 1070 classique pour portables, mais avec des fréquences d'horloge moins élevées. Performances réduites d'environ 15 %, mais consommation énergétique comparativement plus faible.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 Max-Q:

Carte graphique haut de gamme efficiente, pour les portables fins et légers basée sur la même puce GP106 que la GTX 1060 classique pour portables, mais avec des fréquences d'horloge moins élevées. Performances réduites d'environ 15 %, mais consommation énergétique comparativement plus faible.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Mobile:

Carte graphique dédiée du milieu de gamme pour PC portables, basée sur la GTX 1660 Ti pour PC de bureau, et de ce fait basée sur l'architecture Turing sans Ray Tracing ni cœurs Tensor. Les performances de la version Max-Q devraient être similaires à celles d'une ancienne GTX 1070.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q:

Carte graphique pour PC portables haut de gamme, basée sur la puce TU106, avec 2 304 nuanceurs et 8 Go de VRAM GDDR6. Sa fréquence est en baisse par rapport à la variante pour PC de bureau.

 

Ces cartes graphiques devraient être capables de faire tourner tout les jeux récents (avec quelques exceptions) en haute résolution avec un bon niveau de détail.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU:

Carte graphique haut de gamme pour ordinateur portable basée sur la puce Ampere GA103S. Au moment de son lancement, début 2022, la 3080 Ti est la carte graphique pour ordinateur portable la plus rapide du marché.

i7-8750H:

Le processeur Comet Lake-H est fabriqué sur le processus Intel de troisième génération en 14 nm et dispose de l'iGPU UHD Graphics 630 cadencé de 350 MHz à 1 150 MHz. Les cœurs du processeur tournent à 2,6 GHz (vitesse d'horloge de base), avec un Boost jusqu'à 5 GHz, et la fréquence Boost probable de tous les cœurs est de 4,3 GHz. Un processeur mobile basé sur Alder-Lake avec 6 cœurs de performance et 8 cœurs efficaces. Les cœurs de performance offrent un hyper threading, ce qui permet de traiter 20 threads. Le processeur tourne à des fréquences allant de 1,8 à 5 GHz.

i7-12800H:
