The Razer Blade 17 provides excellent performance and gorgeous visuals, albeit for a lot of money. In terms of performance, it's similar to its close competitors — although said competitors don't offer full 4K screens, so you'll have to take that into account. If you're in the market for a powerful 17-inch gaming laptop, the Alienware m17 R4 is also worth considering, as is the Maingear Vector Pro. But there's something undeniably stylish about the Razer Blade 17's design, and you'll get good performance for both work and play.

However, this laptop is also absurdly expensive, with the high-end configuration costing more than £4000. At such a cost, it’s worth considering whether you’re better off with a desktop PC, especially since the Blade 17 is too heavy for on-the-go gaming. The Alienware x17 R2 (2022) is a great alternative, offering similar specs and a lower price; but if you’re committed to the Razer brand, the Blade 17 remains a terrific option.

En effet, si nous aurions aimé voir un i9, particulièrement dans cette gamme de tarifs, le i7-12800H reste très capable. Pour ce qui est du GPU, difficile de voir autre chose qu’une 3080Ti dans cet ordinateur portable. Quant à la RAM, la présence de DDR5 est non-négligeable. Le gros point noir reste tout de même l’autonomie, faisant de cet ordinateur un transportable occasionnellement portable. Quant au tarif, que nous ne cessons de relever depuis le début de cet article, le modèle que nous avons eu le plaisir de tester s’élève à la modique somme de 4700€. Si vous jouez autant que vous ne créez et que vous souhaitez absolument combiner ces deux activités sur un seul ordinateur, le Blade 17 peut être un choix intéressant. Cependant, si l’autonomie est, pour vous, importante et que les jeux auxquels vous souhaitez jouer ne sont pas si lourds que ça, c’est une recommandation difficile, particulièrement dans un monde où le MacBook Pro 16″ M1 Max existe.
