Pour les utilisateurs classiques de stations de travail qui souhaiteraient un port VGA intégré, des ports plein format, un châssis épais, de la mémoire ECC, un lecteur de carte à puce, plus d’emplacements de stockage, la compatibilité E-Port, ou une maintenance plus aisée, alors le Precision 5530 2-en-1 n’est pas un bon choix. La série Precision 7000, avec par exemple le 7720, est plus indiquée pour avoir ces fonctionnalités.

Mais il faut admettre que les professionnels qui sont en déplacement constant, et qui pourraient être séduits par la polyvalence de charnière à 360 degrés, devraient prendre en compte le Precision 5530 2-en-1. Son CPU et son GPU frappent forts en termes de performances, et son écran IGZO lumineux reproduit très fidèlement les espaces colorimétriques sRVB et AdobeRVB. C’est une station de travail puissante, malgré sa portabilité élevée et son format très fin.

Ceux qui voudraient une station de travail nomade mais qui ne sont pas intéressés par l’écran tactile ou la convertibilité de l’appareil, peuvent jeter un œil du côté du Precision 5530 ou du MSI WS63VR. Le châssis du MSI n’est peut-être pas aussi rigide que celui du Dell, mais il possède des cartes graphiques Quadro P3000 et P4000 Max-Q plus puissantes, que les utilisateurs exigeants pourraient apprécier.

Le Precision 5530 2-en-1 est une station de travail mobile puissante, à l’équilibre entre performances et portabilité. Mais si vous avez besoin de plus de ports et d’une maintenance plus aisée, alors le Precision 7720 plus classique et plus puissant pourrait plus vous intéresser.
