890 grammes. Avec le Swift 7, Acer ajoute à son offre un portable de 14 pouces léger comme une plume et ultrafin. L’appareil marque des points avec un écran IPS tactile, 16 Go de RAM (double canal), et un fonctionnement silencieux. Le tout est accompagné d’une bonne autonomie et de deux ports Thunderbolt 3. Pour l’ensemble, il faut néanmoins aligner 2 000 €.

Avec le Swift 7 SF714-52T, Acer propose un portable de 14 pouces ultraléger et ultrafin. L’appareil, équipé d’un élégant châssis en magnésium, pèse 890 g et fait 9,95 mm d’épaisseur. Mais le châssis n’est pas très robuste.

Avec le Swift 7 SF714-52T, Acer propose avant tout un état de l’art. Les performances limitées de l’appareil et son prix d’achat de presque 2 000 €, ne le rendent séduisant que pour un groupe limité de clients.

L’appareil est équipé d’un processeur Core i7 Amber Lake refroidi passivement, dont les performances ne suffisent que pour les applications de bureautique et Internet – pour le traitement de texte et la navigation web. Ceux qui voudraient de meilleures performances sont au mauvais endroit avec le Swift 7.

La mémoire vive et le SSD sont soudés sur la carte-mère, si bien qu’il n’est pas possible de les changer. Cependant, cela ne devrait pas être nécessaire. Avec 16 Go de RAM (double canal) et un SSD NVMe de 512 Go, l’appareil est bien équipé. Mis à part en cas de défaut, il n’y aura pas trop besoin d’ouvrir l’appareil.

Le portable de 14 pouces propose un clavier adapté pour le quotidien, avec un rétroéclairage à un seul niveau. Il possède également une très bonne autonomie. L’écran IPS tactile possède de bons angles de vision, un excellent contraste, et des couleurs plutôt fidèles, ainsi qu’une bonne couverture des espaces colorimétriques. En revanche, la luminosité maximale est trop faible.

Les deux ports Thunderbolt 3 permettent de connecter des stations d’accueil, et une carte graphique externe puissante. Ces ports prennent également en charge le PowerDelivery 3.0, ainsi que le DisplayPort via l’USB C (il faudra acheter des adaptateurs séparés pour cela).
