Il y a de cela plusieurs années, Dell proposait une excellente machine avec le portable de jeu Inspiron 15 7000 originel, et a réussi à le maintenir au top au fil des années. L’Inspiron 15 7000 7577 de l’an dernier était une réussite, et le G7 de cette année peaufine encore un peu le concept. En plus du nouveau nom, le CPU mis à jour propose une hausse de performances d’environ 40 à 50 %, et la nouvelle organisation des couleurs rend le châssis unique, et (subjectivement) séduisant.

Sinon, le G7 est simplement un Inspiron 15 7000 7577 renommé. Ce n’est pas une mauvaise chose, mais celui qui aurait acheté l’excellent 7577 l’an dernier a peu de raisons de changer. En revanche, ceux qui ont des versions plus anciennes, ou qui cherchent un portable de jeu d’entrée de gamme, devraient mettre le G7 en tête de leur liste. Les autres portables de cette gamme sont légèrement moins chers, mais font des sacrifices importants en termes de chauffe, de bruit, ou de qualité de construction. Le G7 pousse la qualité bien au-delà de sa gamme de prix, et possède des performances impressionnantes.

Intégrer des composants habituellement présents dans des appareils bien plus chers, dans un châssis élégant et bien construit, voilà ce qui fait du G7 un appareil au très bon rapport prix - performances. Pour les joueurs soucieux du prix, il est difficile de passer à côté du Dell G7.
