Si le Huawei Y6 échoue, c’est avant tout à cause des promesses marketing irréalistes de Huawei : le smartphone d’entrée de gamme ne fournit pas de performances extraordinaires ni de photos séduisantes en basse luminosité. Mais il n’a pas à faire tout cela, puisqu’il s’agit d’un smartphone d’entrée de gamme, d'autant que le nouveau Y6 est un smartphone honnête, en phase avec son prix d’environ 150 €. Mais il n’est pas pour les joueurs.

Le plus gros point faible du Huawei Y6 (2019) est son marketing irréaliste. Cela mis à part, c’est un smartphone costaud pour son prix.

Le Y6 est en effet élégant, original avec son dos en cuir synthétique en option, ses finitions sont soignées, et il est agréable à prendre en main. De plus, il possède un écran honnête avec un design aux bordures plutôt fines et une encoche, un bon capteur photo de jour, et assez de performances pour un usage classique au quotidien. L’absence de lecteur d’empreintes digitales et un peu dommage, tout comme le choix d’un port micro USB daté. En revanche, la partie logicielle est bien à jour.
