Moins bon écran, meilleur choix ? Razer essaye de créer la machine ultime pour les joueurs nomades. Le résultat en est le nouveau Razer Blade Stealth. Il possède de nombreux arguments, telle sa carte graphique puissante, mais son écran 4K ne peut convaincre. Les performances du processeur devraient également être meilleures.

Le Razer Blade Stealth parvient à atteindre un certain équilibre : il est non seulement compact, mais également très puissant. Mais ce dernier point n’est vrai qu’en ce qui concerne les performances graphiques - les performances du processeur de cette version étant décevantes.

Bien sûr, limiter les performances du processeur est un choix conscient de Razer. La limitation à 15 W est censée permettre de maîtriser la chaleur et le niveau sonore, ce qui est une réussite. Mais il est néanmoins incompréhensible que le processeur soit bloqué à 15 W même quand la carte graphique n’est pas du tout active.

Une autre différence importante entre ce modèle et le Razer Blade Stealth avec GPU intégré est l’écran 4K UHD. Malheureusement, il est décevant. Ce n’est pas une mauvaise dalle, mais elle n’apporte aucun autre avantage que sa résolution et son tactile par rapport à la dalle FHD de l’autre version. Et elle fait parfois moins bien : la version FHD, moins chère, est plus lumineuse. Et l’on retrouve les autres désavantages des dalles 4K, telle la consommation plus élevée. Le résultat en est une autonomie anémique, ce qui est dommage pour un portable aussi compact. Enfin, il nous faut aussi signaler la garantie, qui n’est que d’un an.

Malgré les spécifications du meilleur niveau, cette version précise du Razer Blade Stealth n’est pas à recommander. La plus grosse raison en est l’écran 4K décevant.

C’est pourquoi nous ne pouvons pas recommander le Razer Blade Stealth 13 –seulement dans sa version avec écran 4K. Les clients potentiels devraient plutôt regarder du côté du modèle FHD, équipé d’un GPU GeForce GTX. Cette version est plus abordable, et combine les qualités du Razer Blade Stealth, et les performances du GPU dédié. Et avec l’écran à la résolution inférieure, l’autonomie devrait également être meilleure.
